I was initially very frustrated by the input I got from Jay. He kept saying I needed to connect to Bluetooth, and I kept sending him screenshots showing that I was connected! He also said to watch the setup video--which I had. I'd also gone through the troubleshooting steps. Still no turntable connection.... After sending him a list of precise actions I was taking, he finally directed me to go to iPhone Settings/GemLightbox/Bluetooth. Enabling Bluetooth at that location solved the problem, and Jay and I exchanged several pleasant emails afterward, in which he passed along other useful information. For the record, Jay should not take complete responsibility for not getting a 5-star rating. Picup Media's documentation (both printed and video) is scanty and inaccurate. - There is no mention of enabling Bluetooth via Settings/GemLightbox app/Bluetooth. The setup video--and the troubleshooting checklist--both direct the user to simply enable Bluetooth in the phone's settings.THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED, AND SUPPORT PEOPLE NEED TO BE GIVEN THE INFORMATION DIRECTLY SO THEY CAN HELP PEOPLE WITH ONE EMAIL (instead of six). - Normal/Brightness settings - This needs to be included in print documentation and videos, as well. I didn't even know about them until I asked Jay for help in getting proper exposure for my photos. HE GETS 5 STARS FOR IMMEDIATE HELP IN THIS AREA. :) Update: Picup Media immediately started to revise their documentation—going so far as to send me a draft for my input. I’m very impressed by their response and actions. (And the GemLightbox and turntable are fabulous!)
