GasBuddyReviews of gasbuddy.com

I was member of GasBuddy+ for sometimes. I retired and realized that I figure this out. Monthly payments $9.99 are not worth to get up to 50 gal. Even they bring down to offer me of $7.00. Come on please. I would say overall be much lower than $5.00 per month. I know drivers are not happy camper it not helping save your wallace.

Was taking surveys and more than 10 times completed entire survey and got error message upon hitting submit. Got no points or credit even though some were 25 minutes or more. Then would agree to take 10 or 15 minute survey only to have it take more like 25 to 30. I starting looking for short surveys even if they were only 10 to 30% match and apparently the site thought I was trying defraud them and now has blocked me from all surveys. What a case for a lawyer.

This is the worst customer service ever. We sent in government documents, notarized documents, and government ID's to verify ourselves and to renew our cards and they are treating us like we are scammers. Our State ID plus notarized postal forms were sent to them where all our bills go to. Plus we sent our business secretary of state documents to prove our addresses. The person named Brandi is completely rude and disrespectful and will talk right over you. They are not worth the trouble. You won't get empathy or helpful experience here.

Gas Buddy is useless. Just signed up and on a trip to Yuma only able to use it at 1.5 stations. Using the Trip Planner in practicality traveling 600 daily miles you can only use $140 daily limit. Way too many stops in Planner.

They advertise cents off purchases. I Had 57 cents last visit and had 35 gallons for a $19.60 rebateThey said I purchased 16.5 gallons for a $9.16 cent discount

I have not been able to redeem my points for a gift card. I have sent 6 emails & the response is “ you need to update your app” which I have already done. Then “ we are looking into this issue but we do not have an ETA on a resolution “. When I try to redeem it takes me through the steps all the way to sending me an email that has a button to “ confirm now” when you click that button it takes you back to the main page. Nothing after that. They want you to continue using the app but won’t give you anything for it. I’m done. Never will use it again & I would recommend that you watch everything if you think that you will have a different outcome. My (so called) Gas Buddy support person was Misty.

ive never used this company - but they have charged unauthorized debits to several of my accounts forcing me to close the accounts and making multiple disputes with my bank stating on Aug 25 and still continuing

If I could give zero stars, I would. GasBuddy used to be reliable and trustworthy. I received a new card in the mail and thought nothing of it...until I saw a charge for $3.50 in my checking account.I caught it days after it happened, so I disputed it with GasBuddy, who tells me I have been hacked and that they credited my account. I went to close out my GasBuddy account and see that their "credit" was in GasBucks, which you cannot cash out without the $5 threshold. "Brandi" the AI customer service agent went in circles. They wanted me to join GasBuddy++ and I am not opposed to paying for a service if it is worth it, but they cannot get a simple issue resolved so why would I pay? They charged me for a card that I did not order and lied about the true credit that would hold me hostage to cashout.
