When I pointed out to them that their hosting comparison website, trustyhost is scraping from trustpilot and it’s against trustpilot’s guidelines to do so, they banned me.
They’re very fishy and bad.
Additionally the support doesn’t answer your questions properly and answer things in a very weird way, dodging questions.
Very disappointing, also they were very rude.

Avoid Game Host Bros
Edit: this company is not kind or easy to work with, just look at their response to this review (yikes). These guys are not telling the truth, I encourage them to take responsibility for the inaccuracy of their response to me by reviewing the multiple tickets I created in discord, and which yes, were answered, in my opinion never should have been needed. Not quite sure how I am reinventing myself, and they reported my post and I had to get it reinstated after they claimed I was advertising another service by suggesting better hosts. Additionally, I'm voicing my opinion, the level of defensiveness they get should be suspicious and telling enough. Really sad to see them continue to be so aggressive, but great example of what you can expect :(
Not professional one bit, nice AI response though Gamehostbros 👍
Please don't expose any other personal information about me, including details like what type of email I opened an account with. Super creepy to put that online without my permission.
Original Review: I host game servers every year, and Game Host Bros is the worst host I have used, on both product and support. If you are choosing a game server host, look elsewhere.
The product first. Their Project Zomboid hosting crashed repeatedly with certain mods, something I have not run into on other hosts using the same mod setup, nor could replicate locally on my machine. While they did implement a fix, it was no doubt frustrating and made me feel like a beta tester for a service I was paying a premium price for. From my other experiences, performance was also below what I get elsewhere for the same money.
Then the support. I will own my part, I forgot to cancel a server after we stopped using it. But when I asked them to cancel it and consider refunding the unused months, they refused outright, pointed at a 7-day refund window, and told me to go cancel it myself. It would have taken them ten seconds to do it for me, or to show a shred of the flexibility other hosts show. They kept roughly 52 dollars for two months of a server that sat completely unused. Their renewal emails also landed in my spam folder, so the charges slipped by for a while.
Bloom and Havoc have handled the identical situation for me instantly, quick cancellation and a full refund, no fight, because they value their customers. Game Host Bros does the opposite, and honestly, left a nasty taste in my mouth with how it felt they were more responsive to a bad review than any other time I worked with them.
For Project Zomboid, Valheim, or any game server hosting, go with another host. Game Host Bros has seemingly worse performance, worse support, and will not lift a finger when something goes wrong with billing.

We'd like to add some context for anyone reading. Jake recently submitted another fake review that was removed by Trustpilot for breaching their guidelines. He has since completely reworded his story, while unfortunately continuing to make new false claims about our service. Here's what really happened:
The request Jake made was for 3 months of past service to be refunded retroactively. Keep in mind, Jake has only been a customer for 3 months total, so this was a request to have his entire time with us free of charge, well outside our published 7-day refund window, so we weren't able to process it. We treat every customer equally with respect, and part of that involves upholding our end of the service agreement.
The first review claimed lost account access. As we noted in our original response, Jake's account email and password were never changed, and the email is on a domain Jake owns. Jake told us at the time that he had forgotten to cancel, not that he had lost access, a claim the latest revision completely reverses. Jake also claimed we refused to cancel his service unless he signed in. This never happened. Jake was already signed in when he first contacted us, and staff replied the same day detailing steps to cancel, politely noting how to swap games, and asking if he had any questions or needed assistance. Our records show that Jake read our emailed billing reminders and our support reply. He never responded, and chose not to cancel for another month.
For performance: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X CPUs, the latest and fastest generation of high-end Ryzen gaming hardware, are the minimum standard exclusively powering all Game Host Bros servers across every region (excluding Australia for now). Jake's server ran on this hardware without a single performance issue ever being reported to us.
For full transparency to every reader, this is how we handle your subscription: we send multiple invoice reminders weeks before any payment, including cancellation instructions. This alone loses us money, and we do it anyway to keep every user informed. You can cancel in seconds anytime with the big red "Cancel Server" button in our billing portal, or by removing your payment method. No ticket, no waiting, no questions asked. For security, account and billing changes are made from within your own account, keeping you in full control to prevent unauthorized changes.
Our account of events hasn't changed since day one. Jake's was reinvented, which speaks to its credibility. This review is on its third version after the first was removed by Trustpilot themselves, and we think that difference says everything. It only appeared after we declined to waive payment for every month Jake was ever a customer, under a 7-day refund policy he agreed to at signup. Accountability and respect go both ways. When we mess up, we take accountability and make it right. Until then, we'll keep correcting the record as many times as Jake needs to rewrite it.

WORST HOSTING EVER
This hosting provider are just full of fools, staff are so rude as-well!

Hi Hugo,
We’ve searched our records thoroughly and cannot find any customer, order, or support interaction associated with the name provided. We’ve also reviewed our recent support history and have no record of any negative exchanges with customers.
We take reviews very seriously and are happy to address any genuine issue, but we’ll need some proof of service to do so.
We’ve requested this verification through Trustpilot. If you are a customer, please reach out to us and we’ll resolve this immediately

Great technical service, but extremely unprofessional billing support
FINAL UPDATE (Feb 21, 2026): Management has now contacted me and successfully processed a full refund as per their 7-day guarantee policy. I would also like to clarify that regarding the Discord issue, I was able to manually rejoin the server after being removed.
While the initial support experience and communication delays were very poor, I appreciate that Michael (Management) stepped in to resolve the refund promptly once the formal ticket was reviewed. Case is now resolved.
LATEST UPDATE: After sharing my honest feedback, I have been kicked/banned from their Discord server. This is an extreme and unprofessional reaction to a paying customer who was simply seeking technical help. Instead of resolving the 15-hour delay or the technical incompatibility, they chose to cut off my communication. This confirms their hostile attitude towards customers who encounter issues. Avoid this provider if you value professional support and freedom to speak.
Update: The owner's reply is inaccurate. I initially used the Live Chat on the website and Discord to ask for a technical solution or a Windows host alternative before deciding to refund. I only sent my formal request through 2 channels as instructed.
The response "No need to reach to every channel to get our attention" was sent via live chat, yet after that remark, I was left without any assistance or answers for over 15 hours. My question about Windows-based hosting options was completely ignored. If "someone would be with me shortly" meant 15+ hours of silence after a rude remark, then my complaint about unprofessionalism stands. I am still waiting for the refund promised by the policy.
I’ve had a mixed experience with Game Host Bros. On the technical side, the other staff members have been helpful and the server performance is good. However, I am very disappointed with the attitude of a specific staff member in the billing/support ticket.
I am requesting a refund under their "7-Day Money-Back Guarantee" due to a technical mismatch (Linux Case-Sensitivity issues with Project Zomboid B42 mods).I moved the conversation to the Billing Ticket system.
Instead of professional help, I was met with a passive-aggressive response: "No need to reach to every channel to get our attention." It is very discouraging to be talked down to as if I'm "attention-seeking" for simply following their team's directions. I hope management addresses this behavior. I am still waiting for my refund to be processed according to their policy.

Hi YOK,
We need to correct several inaccuracies in this review.
You claim you only used 2 channels. You actually contacted us through four: Discord (two separate tickets and the questions channel), our website live chat, email, and 2 website support tickets. Every single one received a response. You were also never left for 15 hours without a response.
In your first Discord ticket, our staff responded within 5 minutes with guidance on your mod issue. Your account was then suspended for being registered with fake details (this is against our terms of service), and you were directed to a billing ticket to resolve that..
You then submitted the same refund request through three additional channels. Our team responded to each one, patiently redirecting you to the correct process each time. Our refund policy clearly requires a cancellation via the billing portal and a support ticket on our website. We don't handle anything billing related or cancellation related over Discord, live chat, or email for security reasons.
The live chat comment was simply confirming your request had already been received after it had come in through multiple channels. When you finally submitted through the correct channel, your refund was processed in 16 minutes.
You never asked us to troubleshoot the mod issue, every message after the first ticket was a refund request. We would have gladly helped resolve any issue you were experiencing if you had given us the opportunity to, but you decided to take a different route.

I TRIED TO HOST AN ARME REFORER SERER,
Labelled me "abusive" for taking facts like a gentleman. No zues/gm file for arma reforger server, they seem to think it's a mod for some reason !!!
Response from Game Host BrosJan 1, 2026
Our staff had been nothing but helpful to you. Even after you had broken your server multiple times due to you using AI to make configuration files, we fixed it each time for you. What you were trying to do with your server required mods and was not a part of the default game. We stated we would get them installed for you, however you chose to abuse our staff and send us "facts" from AI that were not relevant to Arma Reforger at all.

Worst customer experience I’ve had with a host — what company does this?
I’ve worked with multiple hosting providers over the years, and I can honestly say I’ve never run into something this unprofessional. I travel a lot, so sometimes my payments get flagged. Every other hosting company I’ve dealt with has a way to verify me and move forward. That’s normal customer service. Here? They flat-out refuse to even try.
Instead of actually helping, their support basically told me “sorry, not our problem” and cancelled my order. Then, when I tried again, they saw I was on a VPN and used that as an excuse to block me completely and tell me to “find another provider.” Imagine paying a company money, only to be told to go shop elsewhere. What kind of business model is that?
The part that really blows my mind is that they don’t even offer a verification process. No option to prove who you are. No attempt to keep you as a customer. Just a canned, robotic response and the door slammed in your face. That’s not security — that’s laziness. Other hosts manage to handle this stuff without a problem, so there’s no excuse here.
If this is how they treat paying customers before you even get a server, I can only imagine how bad the support would be after they’ve taken your money. A hosting company that tells customers to just “go elsewhere” isn’t a company worth trusting.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Go with literally any other provider that actually wants your business.

Hello,
We're sorry you're not happy. Our anti-fraud system flagged your order initially, and then you then tried to bypass this fraud check.
Upon investigation, we found discrepancies that won't allow us to process your transaction due to the high risk rate it has for us. This isn't about being unwilling to help people who travel, it's about protecting both our business and our existing customers from fraudulent activity.
We handle thousands of orders, and while we strive to minimize false positives, patterns that suggest attempted bypassing of security measures require us to decline service.
We genuinely wish we could accommodate every customer, but the combination of factors in your case exceeded our risk tolerance. We understand other providers may have different thresholds, and we respect that you'll find one that better fits your needs.

Avoid - No Specs Disclosed, Banned for asking Questions, Misleading advertising.
So on first glance this looks like an Ok host but I had one issue you don't actually get told the specs of the server you are getting before purchasing they use in my eyes a misleading adverting strategy as they list they have multiple different specs listed on their website(no ram specs or storage specs)...So I Reached out to their discord (The link doesn't work on their website so I had to find it manually) long story short I asked how I was ment to see the specs of the server and they basically avoided my question and said its a "random pool" and "most game server hosts don't disclose that info which is completely false as most hosting providers disclose it to show trust and transparency to the customer. Also if you buying a product you would like to know what you're getting.... I kept on querying them asking them simple questions, nothing just trying to avoid the question.Ps I wasn't rude or did anything against their rules etc and then got banned simply for asking what server specs I would be getting. Lastly, in their TOS No clear business address or legal entity name provide this is a massive red flag.Game Host Bros reserves the right to update, modify, or otherwise amend these Terms at any time, with or without notice." this is another red flag This gives them the ability to change the TOS after you’ve already signed up.
Overall, I would advise to avoid this server host as their lack of transparency and the fact they ban people for asking questions is just mad.If they treat customers this way before you’ve even bought a server, imagine how they’ll handle support if you run into downtime, lag, or billing issues.
They already have TOS clauses giving them power to suspend “at their discretion.”
If they banned me this quickly for asking simple questions, they might do the same if you complain after buying. so AVOID
