The watch was junk. It was loose in the case. Couldn't set the time. It could be wound and it would tick. But in four days of running it only moved about one hour. You couldn't have checked the watch. Unless all you checked was to see it it ticked.

Hi Randall, thank you for sharing your experience. We have no record of you reaching out to us about this issue. Our pocket watches are noted as pre-owned and priced according to their condition. The pocket watch you purchased, as noted in the product name and description is 123 years old. If you contact us at [email protected] we'd be happy to find a resolution. Thank you!

SCAM!!
I have never been scammed before until now. I placed a 9k order with gage diamonds and financed through Lendfirm on 7/18/22. On August 5th I received my “order” from FedEx. The box was sealed with tamper proof tape and I actually had to cut open the box. Inside was another box that was sealed with a diamond sticker, inside the box I found EMPTY cases! I called them and Madeline told me that she packed the order herself and insisted someone from FedEx must’ve have stolen the merchandise as this was the 3rd time this has happened and apparently all from the same ship date. I spoke to the manger who told me they need to file a claim with FedEx insurance, they made no effort to “replace” my order, I was just told that they will get back to me. I told them I can drive there and pick up a replacement order but was told that everything is made to order. I didn’t order any custom pieces! I canceled my financing with Lendfirm but received no email confirmation as promised so I canceled through my bank. I have received 0 updates or confirmation that they were going to fix this. I see a lot of reviews that customers received fake jewelry so it’s either fake or you just don’t get it. Think twice.
Response from Gage DiamondsSep 13, 2022
Hi Alicia, regarding your shipment, it was in fact stolen in transit and FedEx confirmed they believe they found the person responsible. We also fully refunded you as soon as possible, per your request, and even offered you the pieces at a discounted price if you wanted replacements. All of our items are made-to-order unless noted as ready-to-ship, meaning they need to be manufactured which takes a few weeks, which is why we didn't have replacements available for you to pick up. We are just as disappointed in the situation as you and hope you can understand that these matters were outside of our control as we were at the mercy of FedEx.

Absolutely terrible ring
Absolutely terrible ring, terrible customer service especially from Madeline, be ware they will take your money and not give you quality at all
Response from Gage DiamondsJul 15, 2022
Hi Casey, I'm sorry you feel that way, however, Madeline is our top sales associate and all other reviews will back that up. I've been updated on the situation and it appears you are requesting a full refund on a made-to-order engagement ring. Our policy, as stated on our website, is that " custom orders are subject to a restocking fee up to 35% or may not be eligible for a return" and we were willing to swap the setting out for you free of charge, but unfortunately we must add a restocking fee for a return as the setting was made specifically to fit the specifications of the center stone you chose. I apologize for any frustrations our policy may have caused.

I purchase a ring but it’s no form of diamonds
I purchase a ring. It is beautiful. I fully understand that this company does lab grown diamonds. I had the ring looked at and i am being told the stones aren’t even lab grown diamonds they are moissanite. The company insist that this is incorrect but refuse to look at the ring that they sent me!!!
Response from Gage DiamondsJul 11, 2022
Hi Vernysha, this is untrue. Our vendor has provided a signed letter from their Senior Gemologist stating that the item purchased contains lab grown diamonds and not moissanite, which we shared with you.
"Stuller Inc. is offering Laboratory-Grown Diamonds (LGDs) since 2016.
As part of its zero-tolerance policy for undisclosed LGDs, since 2018, the company runs one of the world largest diamond screening operations on all its diamonds, of both natural and lab-grown origins, to confirm their identity. The operation includes a fully dedicated in-house GIA melee analysis service run by GIA personnel and 63 diamond screeners and advanced instrument machines run by Stuller associates and gemologist specialists. Every stone, from 0.008mm is screened by at least two technologies.
Some of Stuller’s LGDs vendors, mainly those that grow diamonds using the HPHT method, are using a modified technique. They add an element called Boron into the original growth mixture to improve the quality of the end-product and increase efficiency of the process.
Recently, scholars reported that this modification may cause LGDs to slightly change their properties and react differently to some testing devices. Several reports specifically stated that these products might be falsely identified as a moissanite mineral, commonly used as a diamond simulant, by thermal and electrical conductivity probes (known in the trade as “diamond testers”).
Please refer to the link below, published in the Journal of Gemmology (one of the world’s most important scientific publications of gemology), for more information:
https://assets.stullercloud.com/das/105192024.pdf
Stuller is aware about this issue and, therefore, avoid using these old diamond testers in its screening operation. Instead, Stuller teams confirm the identity of all LGDs using state-of-the-art spectrometers and imaging devices, as done in leading gemological institutes.
Unfortunately, although Stuller pushes to encourage awareness about the irrelevancy of diamond testers in testing of LGDs, many jewelers and pawn shops are still relying on these old tools. The truth is that, as these tools were invented 50 years ago, their technology simply cannot comply with the current market products."

2 payments made
2 payments made, shipping date keeps changing . Am I ever going to see this ring or you just take the money?
Response from Gage DiamondsJul 11, 2022
Hi Mike, I apologize for your frustrations, however, as stated on our website and order confirmation emails, all of our items take 10-15 business days as they are all made-to-order, and if you choose to finance your purchase, your payment schedule begins the day you check out. I see that from the date of the order to the date of shipping was 10 business days.

Response from Gage DiamondsJun 6, 2022
Hi Steven, after reviewing your account, I see that your order was canceled so you never received any product, and most certainly not a fake product. As you can see from our other Trustpilot and Google reviews, our customers are very satisfied with the high quality of our products!

I’m already getting payments taken out and haven’t received my items they should at least wait till customers receive items then start charging.
Response from Gage DiamondsMay 23, 2022
Hi Antoni, I am sorry you feel that way, however it is company policy for customers to make a first payment before we ship out the item. It is clearly stated on our website and in the order confirmation emails that you may be required to make the first payment if you finance your purchase.
