Crooks
Crooks. Sent in a new condition phone and they clamed it was "good" and locked to the wrong carrier (it wasn't) and tried offering me 75$.

Good evening, we are not crooks. You mistakenly selected your carrier as "AT&T", but your device is actually locked to "Cricket Wireless", which has a significantly lower value. We agreed with you that the phone is in "Like New" condition and offered you $1 more than the highest current offer on www.sellcell.com as a courtesy to you in an effort to give you the highest dollar value for your phone available online today. Non payment
Received an email on July 8 about the condition of the iphone I sent them. Bait and switch on the price I was offered originally. I accepted the amended payment offer and expected to receive a check in the next 7-10 days. Today is August 8 and I still have no check, no email reply and they are not answering phone calls. This place is awful at communicating and not truthful.

This error has been corrected, but the check(s) are expected to be mailed by Wednesday 8/14 if it hasn't gone out already. Alternatively, we can pay by Venmo or PayPal immediately and cancel the check that will be automatically sent out this week if you'd prefer. Never received payment. BEWARE!!!
I sent my phone in to them and received an email that they were sending a check on July, 9, 2024. It is now August 2, 2024, and I have not received it. I have tried calling them to no avail. I also emailed them and received one reply, but nothing since then. BEWARE!!!

I sent our device to them and they did a bait-n-switch with their offer
I sent our device to them with an "offer" of $166. After almost 2 months, we finally got a response saying that the device was not in good condition and that their new offer was now $42. And if we don't accept that, it would be $25 to send it back. I told them to send it back. Luckily I took about 5 pictures of the phone before we mailed it, wrapped in bubble wrap and a heay box. We'll see what comes back.

They make offers and then back out of them
I got an offer from their website, waited a week for them to send me some "shipping kit" it finally arrived, I packed up and shipped my phone. Another week goes by, and I'm told the offer expired and they can no longer accept my phone? No reply on Email. Don't waste your time with Gadget Traders!💩

This company stole my phone
This company stole my phone. I sent an iPhone XR for trade in, and after they received it they never sent a check they don’t answer their phone. One time they answered and they told me they had no idea about my phone and hung up on me. DONT send your phone here it’s a scam. It was. Not a false report. My report number is AGT0018 it took me about 3 months to get my phone payed. I had to talk to about 5 people, write a police report to the Modesto police, I wrote a report on c3 FBI internet crimes report and I wrote a report about you guys on the FCC. I have proof of All the reports. At the end you guys payed me because I pushed this a lot but AGAIN! Don’t sell your phone here. They are a terrible business
