I sent in my iphone 10 for repair thinking this was a reliable business. After what ever repairs, if any, were made Gadget Traders had lost this item in the mail. Unbelievable. I received no type of recovery help from this business whatsoever. Crooks. 100% do no recommend.

This is the wrong company. We are not a repair shop.

Terrible experience. They lost my Apple iPhone X! That's a $1,000 value, down the drain. I mailed my phone in and then got an email notice that there were scratches on the phone so they would be giving me less money than was originally offered. I had already had my phone checked out at spots in NYC and only went with Gadget Traders mail-in because of the price they showed me online. So I hit the "reject" button on the email notice. About a week later, realizing I still don't have my phone, I sent them an email asking about the status. They said they already mailed it back and it was delivered. I had to ask for a tracking number and the address they sent it to. I never received my phone back. Figures they used USPS and did not require a signature (again, $1000 phone!) so who knows where my package is. After speaking to them and receiving absolutely no concern or regard whatsoever, I'm questioning if they even mailed the actual phone back at all. I don't trust this place. Had a terrible experience. Lost my phone. And am down significant amount of money. Don't use this service - just go to an in-person spot and play it safe!

You claimed your phone was like new, but it was not. We provided photographic evidence of this. You rejected the offer and returned your phone at our cost. We sent you a copy of the original label we used. That tracking number showed delivered to the exact address you gave us on the order.

They do not pay what they say they will and force you to pay to have your device sent back. The device was not financed. I paid the full purchase price for it on November 12, 2019.
Response from Gadget TradersFeb 26, 2020
You sent in a financed device that was unable to be activated on another account. We proved this by sending you the worldwide database check that showed the device had an UNPAID BALANCE. Financed devices can only be used for parts and are worth significantly less. Our website clearly states on every device page that devices must be paid off. We sent proof of the IMEI checks showing you the device was not paid off. Our website states that if you send in a financed device and want it returned, it is your responsibility to pay for return shipping since we clearly state everywhere that devices must be paid off. Thanks, GT

Place sucks, lie about condition phone was in!! Gazelle way better. Phone was in mint condition

Chad, we did not lie, in fact you lied to us. Your stated to have a like-new iPhone X, but sent in an iPhone X that was not paid off and in poor condition. We made a fair offer based off the circumstances. You accepted the offer and got paid. If you did not like the offer, you could have asked for the phone back.

They need to stick to the amount of money agreed on
Response from Gadget TradersOct 26, 2018
Tia your phones were not in the condition as described. The website clearly states that they must not be financed and be clear for activation. Some of your devices were not. We offered to return the phone at our cost, but instead, you accepted our offer. We paid you a fair value for the devices in the condition, and if you were unhappy, we would have gladly returned the devices at our cost.
