I have made several purchases and return because we have had excellent service. Amanda from the Fairfield, OH store helps me each time. Recently I returned to purchase a chair we needed for a gift that had to meet certain specifications. As usual, she hit the mark and we are very pleased and will return when we have our next need. Thank you Amanda!!!

We purchased a couch set which was a modular set. So not cheap, for my daughter. Well, I guess they thought because we were not there that they could do a switch on us. My daughter and her husband went in to look at it after we had gone home and approved the purchase before we bought they did notice the set sitting there had stains on it but did not think anything about it. As I was purchasing a new set. We we called and went ahead and purchased the set and was hounded to buy warranty. We decided against it. Then when they came to pick up the furniture it was wrapped very well in plastic. They again hounded my SIL to buy the warranty even threatening him that once he walks out there was not warranty which I was told differently there was still a warranty just not the extended. He took it home and guess what it was the stained furniture from the floor. So I wanted a new set but the insisted it was my Daughters fault it was stained. They fought and finally said they would send someone to clean it. They scheduled a day to come and do the work. Well she was driving and missed the call. Went to call back a few minutes later and the lady said she had no service scheduled for her and she would have to talk to the manager. Well when she talked to her she said oh yes you but the store model. And when we said we purchase a new model and she said she was looking at the wrong paperwork. I don't believe that but again we were just screwed as they kept denying it. Please save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. If you choose to go with them, then take pictures of everything you look at so you can compare later, make sure you document everything and make them unwrap it at the store if you are picking up your self. Good luck with this company they don't honor their word, and refuse to show you any warranty paperwork before you purchase it. I am not sure with after as I did not purchase it.

Vicki, we would be more than happy to find out the miscommunication here as this doesn't sound right to us either! Unfortunately, I don't see any sales like this under your name. We have requested more information.

Bought new living room furniture at the Fields Ertel store less than a year ago. A leg broke off the oversized living room chair because it's made of cheap plastic. Hadn't paid attention to that when I bought it. Since I purchased the warranty I filed a claim months ago. Just getting ahold of someone to do that was a nightmare. Then I waited SIX weeks for the repair man to come out. Was told it's because he has such a busy schedule. (How many broken furniture claims do they have!) They had given him the wrong leg. That was on the 15th of this month. Was told I would hear from someone. I didn't. So I called the store this past Monday and was told I would hear something by Wednesday. I didn't. Called today. Was told they'll have to call me back on Monday because they're not sure what is going on with the claim. It's not even noon today. Not sure why they have put me off (yet again) until Monday. Does it really take that long to check into something? Definitely would not be a customer here again. This was posted on 04/24/25. Furniture fair replied today, 09/10/26. That should tell you something.

Hi Nancy, we'd be happy to look into this. We've requested more information about your order. If you made a claim with the protection plan, we do not schedule that service, but they are rarely more than 2 weeks out. England is a great partner that we typically can get parts from in a very timely manor, I'm sorry we made you feel like we didn't care.

I purchased a sectional from Furniture Fair on October 5, 2024. Upon delivery/arrival to my home the technician advised that one of the cushions had been damaged in transit, but assured me that this would be repaired or replaced. For months the company gave me the run around and continually cancelled my appointments stating each time that the technicians were “in the hospital “. On Jan 3rd (today) someone was to come to my home to replace the damaged cushion case, however, once again, they cancelled my appointment advising that the technicians had been hospitalized. My reply was this is unacceptable. After going around and around with the representative and being adamant that someone come to my home today to fix this issue that has been ongoing for months, the representative finally said, “You are more than welcome to drive out to our factory and pick it up yourself!”….wow…really!! So I jumped in my vehicle and drove 45 mins to their warehouse and picked up a new cushion. Why they were not able to bring it to my home is a mystery to me and this is not how patrons should be treated. I am so very disappointed that this company played with me for months and refused to make right what they did wrong. I didn’t damage the seat cushion, they did and then made me wait 3 months to replace it and made me drive 45 minutes (both ways) out of my day to have it corrected….and yes, I purchased a warranty.

Colleen, We certainly do apologize for the delay in service. We even understand why it would cause distrust, but we really did have one service technician go down with a serious health condition, and then another one, who's very reliable, happened to be sick the day you rescheduled for. Of course we cannot knowingly send sick service technicians to customers homes. When customer care offered to let you pick it up at our warehouse, she was only trying to offer a genuine solution and had our delivery manager assist with the seat casing. We completely agree 3 months is incredibly too long to wait for a broken zipper that wasn't your fault, and in the time since we've been working on a variety of fronts to get customers the parts they need faster.

True rating 0. Manager and saleswoman only wanted a sale. Asked for an exchange. Saleswoman alleged she told me about the 3 day exchange policy—this was a lie. She never once mentioned this policy —just kept reiterating I could exchange but would be while since it’s out of stock. Once she made the sale——she could care less about customer satisfaction. Didn’t offer any suggestions to resolve this issue. When I told her I was contacting corporate —in sarcastic text she states “hope they help.” Avoid Furniture Fair on Taylorsville Rd in Louisville.

It's true, because we cannot sell used furniture as new, we limit returns to three days. OF course there are exceptions for things that are defective. While it doesn't sound like you're saying anyone told you that you could exchange furniture at any time, we apologize if there was an assumption you could. We do our best to make this expectation clear as we see it as an advantage in comparison to many of our competitors which have a "all sales final" return policy. I can assure you everyone here is aware that we are in a relationship business. The vast majority of our sales are to previous customers, and if we acted in ways "just to get a sale", it would benefit no one.
