No skip intro, no sub and dub for usual shows, Terrible user interface. Application on phone and xbox are inferior to all other anime streaming services. Why are you taking animelab from us and giving us something that we don't want. C'mon what the hell? Is just about money right?

I am a customer that was bounced from AnimaeLab to Funimation in the merger. In good faith I crossed over to the new experence of Funimation. The first thing you will notice is the vast lack of genres in Funimation which means that each one packs a lot of shows in each one. The next thing you notice is the sorting system which I believe they came up with by feeding the shows to a dog then organising them by the vomit that the poor animal threw up. Unless you know spacificly the title you want to watch browsing is just a nightmare. As others have said there are also issues with shows mssing and limited runs so if you do manage, by some miricle, to find something you may want to watch there is a good chance earlier episodes will be missing. I am now unsubscribed from this platform and short of Main from Ascendence of a Bookworm getting Isekaied to Funimation to sort them out I will not be back.

This recent switch has shown just how horrible of a company funimation is, bad ui in their bad app and even with all the complaints they dont change anything. Animelab was way better. Fix your your hot mess of w monopoly garbage. Below is a better summary written by another reviewer... "Funimation and Animelab merging is the worst thing to ever happen. Firstly Funimation only lets you download 13 episodes. Ontop, downloading episodes in Japanese doesn't seem to include english subtitles so its technically worthless. I wrote them a bad review...and after it was explained that the mistake was a misunderstanding on my end I have to get back on here and admit my mistake..I am pleased the way they communicated with me even tho I was wrong they diddent be rude with me they was polite the whole time offered a refund and everything..man I feel so dumb lol very satisfied

I am premium subscriber. BUT a lot of the anime still got missing episodes...Overlord has only 3 episodes in season 1, the rest of them missing lol. and Boruto is missing episode 200 and quite a lot more I couldnt be bothered to count. We want AnimeLab back. Funimation is trash.

I signed up for premium and planned on canceling before the free trial ended, but when I would log into my account on the funimation website, it showed as if I wasn't actually subscribed. I thought that maybe I already did it (I get busy with other payments so I thought I canceled). But I've actually been getting charged for MONTHS without knowing and I literally don't have more than one funimation account so it can't be a wrong email issue. Their dubs are mostly the same 10 recycled voice actors, they fired a voice actor for false r*** charges, the website interface is god awful, just watch subs or dubs from literally any other dub company.

I thought the service was free with adds but they only give you a few EPs of each series then you have to pay premium, so it was a waste of the signin up.

Started trying to use funimation as animelab is being grandfathered out in place of funimation. The website is pretty much unusable and extremely hard to navigate. I know it caters more to an English watching audience but even an easy to find option for the simulcasts would be good. I've tried turning off the mature filter many times and the setting won't save. Different Web browsers, cleared cache. It just won't save. When browsing most recently released episodes you'll get episodes from animes that came out 50 days ago at the top of the list and then 3 rows down will be one that came out 2 days ago. Doesn't seem to make much sense. The user interface of the website is incredibly bad. I've cancelled my animelab subscription that I've had for 5 years(which I planned to carry over to funimation). And don't plan on renewing until the website has been fixed. It'd be great if you could change the colours and just use animelabs website. Since funimation owns animelab, wouldn't funimation own all the licences involved in animelabs website? There's plenty more wrong with the website. It's slow, buggy, and hard to navigate. Feel bad for the developer who made the website. But figured such a big company would have better standards and testing procedures. Hire a development team for the next attempt.
