I’m in zone 3, really just a bit too cold for blackberries. I planted them against a wooden south-facing wall, in soil that is just okay. But three out of four blackberries are hanging on 3 years later, and we had fruit last year!

The plants did not survive. I was very attentive with them but they were just sticks.

I was very disappointed about the size of the blackberry canes - starts a 3 inch plant for 20 bucks seems expensive. I ended going to another store and buying 3 foot starts for 14 . I hope yours catch up and produce this year or I might have to post another review.

We got our black berry start we have planted it and it appears to be doing well. It’s not growing yet but I believe it’s establishing roots. It looks healthy. In spite of a couple colder days here

I live in Southern Virginia. Lost 4 of 5 plants over 2 years. Appears to be disease which is unusual since not near any other vegetation other than grass. Adequate water and nutrients. Purchasing other varieties to replace this year.
