There is a $25 fee to send our organization a check. They said we could avoid that by receiving EFTs, but they asked for a voided check and then said that the voided check wasn't good enough.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We'd like to provide some clarity on what happened. Our team reviewed the voided check submitted for EFT enrollment and found two issues that prevented approval. The image was cut off in multiple places and didn't meet our requirements for a complete, legible copy. Additionally, the image contained a footer referencing a check-printing vendor's website rather than your bank, a combination our team flagged as requiring further verification. Remediation steps were included in the response email sent to your organization, including the option to resubmit a complete, legible check image or provide a bank letter for the account. These requirements exist to protect nonprofits like yours to ensure grant funds are routed to properly vetted accounts and not inadvertently misdirected. A responsibility we take seriously.
