Customer service 5/5 - Leah is very friendly and helpful. Web/System 2/5 - Creating shipment, getting quote is easy to use however we have encounter 2 problems. 1. Cannot print with thermal label. It allowed me to "create" a 4x6 label, however it won't print because frisbi system is out of date (same as their instruction). Leah have to void and recreate our shipment so we can print with "letter size" paper. 2. Since our value is over $2500, system asked us to fill out SED form however when I lookup helpdesk, it says "it has been replaced by EEI". It's very confusing. Business Hour 2/5 - Not Pacific Time friendly, especially on Friday which is 6am-10am PT.

The price is good; but, the staff are disorganized, contradict each other, and provide misleading and bad advice. For example, they try to convince resident Canadian corporations to apply as non-resident importers, say to disregard messages from UPS about a brokerage account being established then say that that was a mistake and those messages were actually true and important. They mess up paperwork that UPS provides then require it to be redone because of their errors. They also tell you the account is setup, then after the first shipment claim that there's more to do for electronic documents, etc. and that it's mandatory before a looming deadline (and give no explanation at all on why they couldn't get it all right and done the first time). If you need one, I'd suggest opening a brokerage account directly with UPS and skipping First Choice's additional fees for doing so which only seem to be paying for more headaches rather than making things easier as one might expect or hope.

Very good self service platform. Billing can be a black box when final invoice arrives. Customer service reps confirms certain charges won’t be billed but the opposite happens. Customs paperwork is not as seamless as communicated with the carriers. They can work better with the big carriers to ensure their account does not have this issue.

I’m fussy and insisted on helpful customer service. They delivered. However, recently an international shipment had damage issues and they did not help. In another case, their shipper charged me twice as much after their pre-shipment quote even though my packages’s weight and dimensions were checked before delivery. I’ve stopped using them. I found another company.
