I was told one thing by the loan…
I was told one thing by the loan officer and did exactly the opposite and my loan went from no cost except for the appraisal to $9500 in closing costs

LoanDepot Starts Off with a Bang That Fizzles Quickly and Ruins Your Chances For that Dream House…
I started my loan application September 5, 2019. I provided all the required paperwork by 9/9/2019. The appraisal was completed by 9/17/2019. Alissa Hollis submitted my loan to Underwriting on 9/24/2019. Underwriting issued a contingent approval 10/6/2019. They required 2 additional items which I supplied by 10/29/2019. Since then I have heard nothing form either Alissa Hollis or Aaron Chen. It is now November 26, 2019 and the rate I was given was only guaranteed to November 4, 2019. What am I suppose to do now?

Not good
Not good . 2 weeks getting everything ready. Then the appraisal came in short sorry so can’t do nothing for you goodbye have a nice time

The website is a joke
The website is a joke. It reroutes to another website, then another website, until it lands on mortgage lender websites. Again, we have to enter same information once again. It is totally wasting time. They are not really mortgage brokers, just mortgage advertisers. Do not waste time, just go straight to mortgage lenders' websites.

Watch Out!
This company not only calls you when you tell them you’re not interested but also disputes any negative reviews of your experience, even though my experience was absolutely negative! I was put through to speak to a lender when I was NOT interested and said I was not interested. I have repeatedly been called ever since and keep telling them I’m not interested! Go elsewhere!

Go elsewhere. I spend a fortune on lead gen companies and they are the worst. I paid for live transfers and they were transferring stuff to my voice. They claimed its an issue on my end. So I would get billed for a live transfer without getting a live transfer. CEO also stating he would refund the money than he said he wouldn't refund it. THE MONEY IS SITTING IN MY ACCOUNT. It's my money. No matter. Chase will refund it and you guys will get a charge back. Avoid these guys like the plague. Set up your own squeeze pages and run ads through em.
