I have no Idea what has to what this has to do with Home Loan Depot

I was excited after getting off the phone, then very disappointed after reading the paperwork that was sent.

I decided not to proceed with a mortgage refinance, so I informed the Loan Depot lending officer this morning. This was within a few days after the process began. I was rewarded with a tirade of insults. How much better it would have been if the officer had been more understanding, or, at least, polite. If I decide to go ahead with a refinance in the future, I won't be using Loan Depot!

Bankrate.com gives you better rates without being solicited by lenders. FreeRateUpdate seemed great at first, submitted my info and received a call within seconds from a mortgage lender (loanDepot) with great rates and knowledgeable loan officer. BUT, while on that call, I received 3 voicemails from more lenders. And loanDepot strung me along for 2 months then their account managers were clueless and unresponsive. FreeRateUpdate sent me a text a few weeks after I began the loan process; they offered a lower rate, I explained that my refi was already in progress thanks to them but they said it that didn't matter and no new credit pull would be necessary. Lies. Another dozen calls from lenders (even they complained that FRU is only supposed to allow 3 lenders to call).

I called the loan officer and never get back to me.

Sent a bogus text implying they were my loan provider with a rate reduction, and as soon as i clicked to get the information i was bombarded with 30 solicitations from other lenders. most of which tried to say my existing loan in process was a scam, or not real. you need to list that this is a solicitation for a loan... not an update on a rate change. you suck!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LEADS! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GARBAGE!
