I do not recommend this company. They don’t stand behind their products, and their warranty is next to useless. They constantly have problems with their systems when you need information, and they show little respect for your time or money. Go local if you can—you’ll be able to hold them accountable far more easily than dealing with the digital wall of an internet company. Their warranty only covers $50 per hour for shop labor. In Florida, the median rate for transmission work is around $250 per hour. I should have researched that better. The shop I used charged less than the median but still far more than $50. I was sold on the “no-fault” warranty as an extra layer of protection, so I assumed it offered real value. It doesn’t. It doesn’t stack with their regular warranty—it’s still just $50/hour unless you get the 400.00 version that goes up to 99.00 per hour. The only difference is they will send a replacement transmission one time if there’s a problem. In my case, the transmission they sent was defective. I drove it for about 6-8 weeks before it failed. They first tried a patch job by sending a valve body and solenoid. That failed, so they sent a new unit. The new one seems to be working, but now they expect me to pay for everything beyond their $50/hour labor rate for replacing a defective unit they sent me—another $1,500. No one can convince me that’s right. When I call, I can’t reach anyone who can actually resolve the situation. It’s always “leave a voicemail.” I was told I’d get a callback in 3 hours or up to 24 hours… My truck has been at the shop for almost two months. They do not seem to care about your time or money. They are fine sending defective equipment and making you pay to fix it. That has been my experience with this company. Initial experience: I needed a replacement transmission for a 2015 GMC Sierra and specifically wanted to avoid the same defective torque converter. I ordered an upgraded unit with a heavy-duty torque converter. When I called with questions, they answered quickly, and when they didn’t have the information immediately they followed up with satisfactory answers. Shipping was fast—no complaints there. They did charge a fee for the core waiver, which they disclosed upfront (it should probably be listed on the website, but at least they were honest about it). The fact that they offered a core waiver was one of the reasons I chose them. Other transmission companies don’t disclose freight costs and then hit you with high shipping charges—one quoted over $700. Having worked with freight companies, I know roughly what pallet shipping should cost, so that was a turn-off. These guys were more reasonable on the upgraded transmission. The shop finished the install without any reported issues and was just doing a leak test when everything looked good to go. Update after the failure: Unfortunately, the transmission they sent had defective components—something related to the valves and possibly a solenoid. It wasn’t shifting properly. I was able to drive it for about two months before the problem started. I had purchased their no-fault warranty as added protection, but the warranty department has serious communication problems. After I submitted the claim form, I received no calls or emails. The last email I got was on August 4th when I finished submitting the claim information. When I followed up later, almost nothing had been done. They kept asking for information I had already provided on their own form. This back-and-forth between them and the shop went on for weeks. It’s now been three weeks with no meaningful progress. The shop spent a couple of days trying to record the noise from the torque converter (which indicated slippage), but that was just part of diagnosing the issue. I still have no email updates from the company. I just got off the phone with them and will have to call again today because they’re waiting on some new approval process for the parts they want to send. Meanwhile, I don’t have the truck I use every day. It’s a shame, because the sales side seems to have it together—the warranty side does not. .
