Disappointing
Wanted to take a trip to visit the British Sector D-day sites, but no joy, despite the efforts and helpfulness of Elodie ( thank you ). Opted instead for a trip to Mont St Michel. Spectacular place, but extremely commercialised. Disappointing tour guide though, as English expression was limited. Neither lunch nor entrance to the monastery was included, so it worked out a quite pricey experience.

We're sorry you did not enjoy the tour to Mont-Saint-Michel. While it is certainly a very commercialized place, it's also a sight that is really unique. The tour you booked is really only a shuttle service to the Mont-Saint-Michel. This did not include either the entrance to the Abbey nor lunch, but this most certainly clearly displayed on the tour page. It may appear pricey, but your other choices would be to either take public transportation from Caen or Bayeux -- cheaper, but there is no English-speaking assistance whatsoever -- or rent a car -- which for one person only would have turned a lot more expensive...
