As so many other reviewers have remarked, there is often a cost associated with quality. We think that if you had in fact ordered a full frame for your home, you would agree the final outcome makes it worth it.

The TV art frame and the art itself look very good. However, all the pictures on their website are those of recessed TVs. When we surface mounted our TV with the new art/frame on our kitchen wall, it looked so weird. It was obvious that it wasn't regular art. It stuck out so much (despite a super low profile fixed mount) that it actually looked better before as a TV alone. This was an exterior wall that we ended up having to pay $4500 to get the TV recessed into it. Now it looks great, just like the pictures on their website. We are not happy with what we had to spend to make it look nice though. Had we known the TV art frame would look so bad surface mounted, we would have just kept the TV as is on the kitchen wall.

Thank your for your review and the additional information regarding your experience. While our tvART covers only add 1.125" of additional thickness to the TV for the canvas are to slide down in front of the TV, yes, many clients do find that the finished look is more attractive if you have the ability to recess the TV. To clarify one thing about the images in our gallery, some of these are surface mounted TVs and some are recessed, but we rely on our clients around the word to send in photos after they install and most people's inclination is to take the photo head on and not from the side. We proudly publish all high quality customer submitted photos to try to help our future clients. Unfortunately though, we are not on site to take the pictures from all angles ourself. We truly hope all of our clients take the time to review the array of helpful information on our site before making their final decision.
