We went to the FO in Merrimac NH. The first person that we chatted with was very nice and approachable. I started trying some scents on the female side and sadly, about 10 minutes into our visit another person (seemed like the manager or something) came out with a very flat, slightly judgemental face. She immediately asked me if I needed help, again in not a very happy manner. We are clearly not Americans so my thought was that she had negative thoughts about us. I greeted her with a smile and asked her if she had any advice of scents that were sweet. She never took her eyes of us until we finished our transaction (over $300 sale) and barely gave us a smile. Either she has a very flat expression or she truly thought we were there to steal (or something) which is very unfortunate and exactly how we felt.

There is not a great selection of popular fragrances in stronger concentrations, ie., intense, Parfum, etc. If there was, we could not smell the scent because there was not a tester opened. The purpose of smelling the fragrance is to eliminate a blind purchase, which is what the store associates want you to do beyond “taking their word”. I was not very comfortable with this visit. I felt rushed, associates seemed very eager for me to make a purchase even though what I initially came for was not open for me to smell or was just not available. This visit was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. Even the associates did not appear to be very knowledgeable or an expert in fragrances. I walked in and thought this must be a casual day…I’ve never experienced that feeling before…making my trust in their expertise low from the beginning. Other visits have been much better and made me feel confident in my purchases because the associates at least portrayed the part.

Great quality purchase, but the sales agent was somewhat aggravating, borderline pushy. I wish I could remember her name, but she was very irritating in her interaction with my wife so much so that if I hadn't came into the store, my wife was on the verge of leaving. But the products are excellent.

Terribly over priced

The young man helping us was very kind and personable. However when we got home (an hour plus drive away) one of the 3 purchases was incorrect. Maybe sales people should review the order with the customer while ringing up and bagging the items.

Prices and selection were great. The salesperson was really pushy. I almost walked out with nothing. I understand explaining the sales and showing the merchandise, but I felt talked down to and not listened to. Will not recommend this place to friends.
