These skates are absolutely adorable. I wanted to try to get back into skating after about a 20 year hiatus... so I didn't want to spend a terribly steep price. The turquoise color is beautiful and the skates feel well- made. I'm a size 10 in any brand of shoe, so I purchased a size 10 skate. I don't have a wide foot, but I feel that these have room for a wide-footed skater. They almost felt loose when I first put them on, but when I tighten the laces super-tight, my foot felt a bit more secure. I might need to wear a thicker sock to accommodate for the space. However, I knew I couldn't go down to a size 9, so I'm still happy with my size choice. This is the only reason I have a 4-star rating, but I have to be honest, that designing a skate for a wider foot should be a positive incentive. I'm still looking forward to taking these to the local skating rink to try them out!
