Had someone out to check sump pump issue. I was at work. Battery back up sensor stated “clean terminal or replace battery.” So tech cleaned terminal, charged me $85 and left. The battery was no good. The next day the sensor came back on. His diagnosis at the time was just buy a new system. I tried calling for two days to get more info. No answer message box full. Finally got hold of someone and they said they would have the tech call me back ASAP. No call two days. Called back multiple times. Went to VM with full inbox. Talked to someone finally again. They said the tech will call you ASAP. That was two MORE days ago. Meanwhile the sump pump has been working overtime on a warning signal. Horrible customer service. If I would have known this I would have never bought a furnace from them last year. They got me pretty good.

DO NOT HIRE
My mother contacted Four Seasons Heating and Cooling on 01/26/2026 for a water leak. What should have been a simple service call turned into them replacing her boiler—something that was not needed.
The technician arrived at 8:00 a.m. and instead of shutting the water off, allowed it to continue leaking for approximately three hours while he tried to determine “how my mother’s credit was” so they could charge her for additional work. He even made the comment, “Oh, there is no way you could afford this in cash,” which was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.
After being pressured into purchasing a new boiler costing nearly $17,000, her tenants were left with NO HEAT because the job was not completed correctly. A second technician had to come out to bleed the old pipes and stated that the original work was done incorrectly.
I was on the phone during a call with customer service and had to take over because of how rude and disrespectful they were toward my mother. Once I took over the call, their tone immediately changed. This entire situation has caused my mother extreme stress and has made her physically ill, so I have been the one handling all communication.
Each time I call, I am forced to explain the situation again to a different customer service representative, which is incredibly frustrating. Another technician was sent out on 02/12/2026, and once again I was told the job was done incorrectly. That technician stated he would order parts and return on 02/16/2026 to fix everything properly, even saying he would do the job “as if it were his own house.”
I also had the city inspector come out because the work was done without a permit, and the inspector confirmed the job was poorly done and appeared incomplete.
On 02/16/2026, I took yet another day off work only for a different technician to show up. He informed me the previous technician was off that day, that he was only there to inspect the job, and that he did not have any parts. After calling customer service again and finally reaching the person assigned to this claim, it became clear that even they were not aware of what was happening. The technician confirmed to the representative exactly what he had already told me.
As of 02/16/2026, four technicians have been out and nothing has been resolved. I will now have to take off work again on 02/17/2026 in hopes that the job is finally done correctly.
This entire experience has been exhausting, stressful, and unacceptable. Between the unnecessary replacement, poor workmanship, lack of permits, constant miscommunication, and horrible customer service, this company has given me absolutely no confidence. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Unprofessional
They installed our HVAC unit and found out they didn't put the right size duct. Called back to have them fix it and a guy named Vance said he will call back either within the day or the day after, but they didn't. I called back a week after and finally somebody talked to me and was transferred to this same guy, Vance. He scheduled to go to our house to have the duct work fixed but we he didn't come. I called their office and they don't even know where the dispatcher is. We at least would like to know if they are coming or not. NO updates and callbacks from the dispatcher.

Do they even talk to other departments?
I had an issue with my furnace cutting out and not fully heating. I know the error codes, it was probably a faulty pressure switch, which the technician identified.
So they sent out the part to the wrong address (sent it to S my address rather than N my address) I had to call numerous times to get them to resend the part, always with no response from the parts department.
I was supposed to get calls back numerous times and never did. Also, since I didn't have the part, they cancelled the second service call, but no one told the technician, and he called and said he was on the way.
Thankfully, my heat is working, although there is something wrong with the system. I spent way too much time on the phone trying to get service.
I have used them for many years at numerous addresses, but no more.

Techs were very nice
The only constructive thing I can say is the techs did a great job, were very personable and knowledgeable. It's the companies overall billing. I was initially charged over $800 for a morning visit that lasted an hour, the delivery of the shut off piece that needed repair, and 15 minutes for the second tech to come later that day to repair. I wasn't initially going to have the part replaced because the first tech had it working, but theatened that if I didn't get it fixed, something bad could happen, like killing the motor. He made a call and the office went down to $704 for a senior discount. Then I found out the part was around $20.00. Morning tech for $85 (45 minutes), part $20, afternoon tech $85 (15 minutes. That's about a $200 job!!!!!! How do they explain initially charging $800.00. I called Four Seasons and complained, and they gave me another $50 discount. So this $200 job in all fairness turned out to be $654! How can a company justify this outrageous markup???????

Do Not Trust 4 Seasons
We get a “tune-up” every year for our furnace. This 11/2025, we used Four Seasons Heating and Cooling, also utilizing their $89 coupon for cleaning and inspection. We provided the coupon. After the technician completed his 35+ point cleaning and inspection, the tech indicated that the blower motor was a little dirty, and for an additional cost, it can be cleaned. We reminded the technician that our appointment was for the cleaning and inspection of our unit—which as stated on their website, included the motor. When we called to set up the appointment, we asked what was included in the service; we were told (verbally) it included the cleaning and inspection of key/major components. The blower motor was stated as a key/major component. The technician provided a quote. We asked the technician to reach out to his supervisor for clarification on the services provided. The supervisor indicated that the tune-up does not include the cleaning of the blower motor. We made mention of what is stated on the coupon and their website. The technician left our home without cleaning the blower motor in our furnace.
Four Seasons Heating and Cooling is not an honest company. They did not honor what is stated on their website. Even after reading several 1-star reviews (over 40 in 2025) on the Better Business Bureau’s website, we still gave this company a chance. We were also fooled by the only 5- or 4-star reviews listed on their website. That should have been a red flag for us. We should have taken the time to read in full all of the 1-star reviews. Well, now we know.
If you are an honest and reputable company, you don’t have to resort to scamming or the “bait and switch” tactics that Four Seasons engages in. Beware!!!!
I think we will take our complaint to the next level. Hopefully, there is someone who is paid to read the listed complaints and take action, making Four Seasons accountable for their bad business.
Response from Four Seasons Heating & Air ConditioningJan 10, 2026
Hello Kelly! After reviewing our records, the blower motor cleaning was not included or discussed as part of the annual tune-up at scheduling. As our website states, the tune-up includes system inspection, testing, and limited cleaning, including: the blower motor being removed, wheel inspected, speed tap checked, amp draw measured, and capacitor tested (if applicable). This does not include a full blower motor cleaning, which is a separate, chargeable service. Out of good customer service, we offered to perform the full blower motor cleaning at no charge and have attempted to follow up. We have serviced and maintained your system since 2023 and value your continued business. We remain committed to resolving this and hope you will consider our offer so we can provide a better experience moving forward.

I just had my sump pump checked by one…
I just had my sump pump checked by one of the technicians and he said it was in good condition. So he suggested that have the check valve replaced and I did the costs for parts and labor was $442.00 with $50.00 coupon off. Four seasons don't give you a break down cost for parts or labor. Come to find out later the labor cost was $342.00. I'm sorry but knowing the high cost of labor I won't be shopping at Four seasons any time soon. And any who reaches out to them should beware of over price labor cost.

I called because i had a clogged drain…
I called because i had a clogged drain and I had an $83 coupon.
When the tech showed up he stated this coupon is not valid and estimated it would be $499 to rod my drain.
Bait and switch. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
