Don't bother. Terrible service. Our table had a scratch. Technician showed up, took picture and left 5 minutes later. 2 days we got call stating wasn't covered. Biggest rip off.
Can you provide an email? I will gladly send all the information as there are 2 incidents.

The vendor Adam’s Towing had me waiting…
The vendor Adam’s Towing had me waiting for six hours in the evening. They then texted me at 12 am stating they were sorry for the delay and acted like they had towed the vehicle. They then went to the auto shop the next morning and told the staff we were trying to take to another shop. Which was untrue. But he was starting unnecessary drama with auto shop and me. He is a liar. He also told the auto shop that he did not have time to do it and would be back.

Fine print scam artists
Fine print scam artists. Couch I bought for 4000 randomly breaks, just from someone climbing onto the couch, and they somehow don’t consider this accidental damage. It’s somehow not covered. Like what the hell do we buy insurance for if not for random damage like this? On top of this, the tech that came out said it WAS covered and we didn’t find out for another week or more than fortegra couldn’t be bothered with it. This is bad for FORTEGRA and rooms to go for partnering with them.

Why you shouldn’t get the extended warranty at Rooms to Go
Read your contract first and write the claim word for word copy and pasting the damages as it it worded in the contract. They will try to deny everything. Even use schematics. Not worth purchasing this coversge

I purchased the Rooms To Go Guard It…
I purchased the Rooms To Go Guard It Protection Plan because I wanted peace of mind that accidental damage to my furniture would be covered. Unfortunately, my experience has left me disappointed, and I believe future buyers should understand exactly what they are purchasing before spending additional money on this protection plan.
When I filed my claim, I clearly explained that acetone had accidentally spilled onto the console lid of my loveseat. During the initial claim call, the representative documented the incident as a nail polish stain rather than acetone damage. Based on that information, my claim was accepted, a technician was dispatched to inspect the furniture, and I was led to believe the damage was covered.
After the inspection, my claim was denied.
To the company's credit, a Concierge Specialist later reviewed the original call recording and admitted that the error was made by their own representative—not by me. They apologized for the misunderstanding and confirmed that the agent would receive additional coaching to prevent similar mistakes in the future. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism.
However, the final outcome remained the same. The company determined that while the Service Agreement specifically covers accidental nail polish stains, it excludes damage caused by acetone or nail polish remover because it is considered an excluded substance under the contract. Although they acknowledged that the confusion originated with their own employee, they declined to make any exception or goodwill accommodation despite the unnecessary inspection, the time invested in the claims process, and the expectations created by their representative.
This experience taught me an important lesson: do not rely solely on how the protection plan is described at the time of purchase or what a representative tells you over the phone. Read the exclusions carefully. There is a significant difference between what many consumers would reasonably consider "accidental damage" and what the contract actually covers.
My purpose in sharing this review is not to criticize the employees who handled my claim professionally after the mistake was discovered. Rather, I want future customers to make an informed decision. Before purchasing this protection plan, ask for a detailed explanation of what is not covered, especially regarding common household products and accidental spills. If you ever need to file a claim, ask the representative to repeat back exactly how they are documenting the cause of loss before the claim is submitted.
A protection plan should provide confidence and peace of mind. In my case, despite an admitted processing error by the company, I was ultimately left with damaged furniture and no coverage. I hope sharing my experience helps other consumers understand the limitations of this plan and make an informed purchasing decision.

I had my vehicle towed with this…
I had my vehicle towed with this insurance and was still charged $389.70. Tow company shows up 2 hours after I called and then didn’t deliver my vehicle until 10:40 that night and they picked it up at 5. Was a big rip off and I would never recommend to anyone.
