Beware of Unanticipated Subscription charges
Two purchases of golf balls - a smaller one to try them out and a slightly larger one to stock up ahead of a golf trip. The balls themselves are fine. The financial trickery (or Scam, if you prefer) is definitely not. Having now read through other reviews, my experience mirrors that of many others here: another instance of being charged a monthly “membership” subscription fee without any authorisation. The company has illegally held onto credit card details without permission and has helped itself to a monthly fee (in my case £21.95/month), hoping not to be spotted. When raised with the support, the answers given are deliberately evasive and no individual is prepared to give a name or enter into direct dialogue. Answers come from ‘The Forgeway Team’, which is presumably AI or someone operating from a script. AVOID.
