We're a team of everyday golfers, course pros, and engineers who got tired of paying $50+ a dozen for the same premium golf ball. So we built our own. A ball re-engineered from the core for longer drives, straighter shots, and durability that holds up round after round. We sell it directly to golfers, which is how we keep a tour-level ball at under half the usual price. Every order is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you're not playing better, send it back, no questions asked.

Scam. Golf balls are nothing special. Apparently, when you buy a dozen, you are unknowingly auto enrolled in a $29.95 monthly subscription for their "Club". Interesting that you do not get emails from this club offering tips or product advertisement, just monthly charges to your credit card. I guess they don't want you to know you are being charged. See the other 100s of reviews that have the exact same complaint. Stay clear of this brand.

Scammers?
Bought the balls online, paid in full via Paypal. Have not tried the balls yet but this review is not about the ball performance. I received an unsolicited charge on my credit card shortly after the balls were delivered. Something about a Forgeway Club membership. I guess it's hidden somewhere on the checkout page. Anyhow, I contacted Forgeway and they did return my money and cancel my "membership" (which would automatically renew each month). It feels dishonest to me and I am very disppointed with this company. I will live with my slice rather than do business with shady operators like this.

Pick-Pocketed me for an Unwanted Subscription
On October 2nd, I bought online, 36 Forgeway Golf balls. On October 16, they charged my credit card for a sneaky, covert, unwanted subscription for online coaching - what a joke!
Having played a few rounds with the Forgeway balls, I would conclude that the balls are average and the price is reasonable, so when I lose one I don't spend too long looking for it. I know that manufacturers'claims about design and technology 'improvements' to golf balls and golf clubs don't make a difference to my game, so I wasn't conned by their marketing hype.
To me, the Forgeway balls, like all others, feel relatively soft when I hit the sweet spot on the club, and hard when I toe-it or heel-it. I'd rather lose a Forgeway than a Pro-V1 which is the main reason I wanted to try them
Their sneaky, underhanded, slight-of-hand way of squeezing another £20 out of me really angered me. Now, they'll get more than £20 worth of bad publicity and word-of-mouth reputational damage, when I warn all my golfing friends not to deal with them.
As things stood, I would probably have reordered their cheap balls because of my high handicap standard of play, but now they've lost my future business as the unit price per ball went up because of the £20 they pick-pocketed from me.
Now, I feel disgusted when I tee-up one of their balls. When I see their logo, I don't feel like a customer, but a mug, which inspires me to "welly it" in anger, exaggerating my already perfect banana-shaped drives deep into the right-hand rough. Happily, by playing 3 off the tee more often, I'll soon lose them all.
I will return to using my Slazenger v-100 balls which suit my game. I think the Slazenger balls must be coated with teflon or something to reduce wind resistance, because even the ink from my attemps to draw putting guidelines on them will not stick.

Instead of constant apologies either…
Instead of constant apologies either make this so called 'subscription'( still not clear what you would actually get for that) crystal clear or scrap it altogether but then maybe it was part of the 'business plan'?

AVOID THIS COMPANY
AVOID THIS COMPANY. As others have noted, extra money is taken without authorization. I ordered a box of balls to try. Balls arrived after a long wait: nearly two weeks. Then noticed another payment had been taken from my account. When I complained and said I didn't agree to any subscription and didn't want further balls, they said it wasn't a subscription but a membership that didn't include any further balls. They have cancelled my 'membership,' and I await their promised refund. Total scam, and it would not be noticed, as no products would arrive to alert you.
