All went as planned, BUT I was confused at the PayPal transaction when it came in. I recommend they include the business name in the transaction. Otherwise, very satisfied, thank you.

When Covid started all currency exchanges in the USA closed.I had a huge decrease in income and desperately needed to exchange foreign currency. THE STAFF AT FOREIGN CURRENCY AND COIN EXCHANGE were phenomenal. They answered all my questions, my check came in less than a week and the exchange rate and fees were better than the rates I got at the airport with an employee discount. I've already began preparing another exchange package and I'm telling all my coworkers about these guys so they can skip the airport fees The only business I've encountered in the last 10 months that didn't use COVID-19 as an excuse to take weeks longer than usual. their site indicates the rate of coin and once add to the basket will drop 1 cent down it is already low enough at buying point and again they lowered once more. Ex: buying 1 cent for 1 cent and once you add 2 cents to the basket should be 2 cents will deduct 1 cent only for your two cents. again you will lose more on your money value. more calculation more loos.

Instructions are clear, the website is well organized and very comprehensive, and payment was swift and seamless. The only negative is that the exchange rates are not particularly generous, but given the quality of the service I think that’s fine.

Service was quick. they took banknotes and coins that I couldn't get rid of. Payout is not terribly high, but in a pinch if you want to get rid of old currency and coins, it's fine. If you don't have much to convert, the postage might not be worth it, though.

I was excited to find the FCCE website because I thought I was stuck with the bits of bills and coins that I had accumulated long ago in my world travels. I believed it too cumbersome to take the collection to a coin shop because they would likely pick through it only wanting certain items. I was amazed with all the countries listed with at least something listed as an offering for currencies current and obsolete. I went item by item, built the cart, submitted the order and sent the currency in. It was received quickly and acknowledged by the company swiftly. The only issue I had was the funds due to me were placed on hold by PayPal. After researching why, I was told that FCCE had not acknowledged receipt of the item even though I had provided tracking information to PayPal. So after one email and one phone call, the issue was resolved (a simple update in the PP system) courteously and professionally. If I find myself with more currency in the future, I will use this company.
