This company is a total disgrace. I had a temporary payment issue at Tesco, explained it to staff, and intended to return the same day to pay. Instead, they added an unfair £15 admin fee. The terms were not clearly displayed at the pumps as required by law, and they refuse to cancel it. I only got anywhere after making a formal complaint directly to Tesco — otherwise they just try to bully people into paying. No transparency, no fairness, just revenue‑chasing.

Yes I was at that forecourt and they showed images of me and the car. Checked bank account and no transactions that day! Could have paid cash. Paid £35 fine because I know it will be difficult to disprove as I was there. No doubt a cashiers error. I will now avoid Tesco Gatwick from now on. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS for months!

Shocking company! The shell petrol station involved forgot to merge my two payments together. I have proof i paid but the cashier did not add the correct total. Six weeks later I have a letter forcing me to make payment and will not except my original proof of payment and said there was no grounds of a complaint. i have paid in protect and i and i will be taking legal action against them and shell. Bullying tactics.

Got home from holiday to find a letter from forecourt eye. I have no recollection of buying fuel from the garage and usually pop in for snacks which I have a receipt for. Given the reviews I will have to pay but feel that they are robbing me and I will never go in a Shell garage again!

Received a threatening letter alleging fuel theft. CCTV showed my car at home 70 miles away at the relevant time. Their own SAR images showed a completely different vehicle wearing my registration. Took three weeks of correspondence and a police crime reference for plate cloning before they accepted the claim was false. Multiple unsafe payment domains used during the process (one flagged by browser security as phishing). Significant stress and time cost despite clear evidence that the registration had been cloned.

Terrible customers services when you call them. We were then “fined” by FE for the cashier’s oversight. I understand we all make mistakes, even upon returning 2days later to the Shell station and being notified that I never paid for my fuel I paid it on the spot with the understanding that I could call forecourt eye and they would listen to my appeal. They not have an appeals process and refuse to consider mitigation. As well as mock you on the phone. Terrible, attitude.

This company hound's you via email , Text or a letter saying your banned from forecourts until you pay them and when you do pay they don't even have the courtesy to inform you the bill has been paid and you can continue to use your fuel card forthwith firms like these should be outlawed for harassment
