I've been receiving every day a letter saying that I have to pay for stolen fuel. And I ready called you and I told you to high light my address and don't send me anything from other people and still you using my address anyhow so I'm thinking you are scammer .i think you got someone in your system those people are paying something under the table for passing their fines tickets to my address and i think I should call the police. It's getting serious and you don't care about people health. Plus fuel stations shouldn't trust your services. Because you are part of those gangs.....

Insolent staff and outrageous fee
I know these things always sound hollow but I genuinely drove away by accident with £12.95 of fuel. I only stopped to buy water on a broiling day when I had got badly sunburnt and because there were no parking spaces I had to pull up by a pump. I felt obliged to put some fuel in, which I didn't need, as my tank was nearly full, hence the £12.95. I then went into the shop to get water and in a trance saw a long queue at the till so went to the self-service checkout completely forgetting the fuel. I was horrified when I got the letter from forecourt Eye a week later and actually needed to check the images to be sure as I had no recollection. Having done so I wrote apologising and saying I had no issue paying but their administrative charge at £35 was excessive. I got a curt letter back saying that was what had to be paid. I then wrote again asking for, a justification for such a high charge for one letter. The response was one line saying it's £35 and £60 if I don't pay in ten days and no attempt to answer my query. I did pay within three days of receiving the notice but I found their response insolent and unprofessional. Not everyone is a criminal. Accidents happen. Who puts only 12.95 of fuel in and then goes into the shop if their intention is to drive off??? Don't they fill their tanks and just drive off? My main gripe is the ill mannered reply to a perfectly civil question. Modern life! They themselves are committing theft in my view.

Filled up my vehicle and bought milk…
Filled up my vehicle and bought milk from the petrol station. Received a letter to find out that I had paid for the milk but not for the petrol which I don't know how this happened, but anyways, received a letter from forecourt eye stating that I've not paid for the petrol of which I'm happy to pay for but they've added £35 admin fee on top of my £15 petrol.
I had contacted them numerous times of which their responses have been inconsistent and includes typos to let them know that I'm willing to pay for the petrol if that's the case but not the admin fee. A rubbish service, and a thief as they really want that admin fee don't they? Can't wait to go through my claim in court with them, with the evidence I have.

I paid for £20 worth of fuel on my card…
I paid for £20 worth of fuel on my card but subsequently got a letter telling me the payment hadn’t gone through. I was told I had to pay the original £20 ( fair enough) & a £35 admin fee which was grossly unfair.
I explained I had used this garage for 35 years with no issues & told them it was an error & asked why the cashier didn’t tell me the payment hadn’t gone through declined ?
I received no explanation and was told they don’t consider appeals for admin charges.
I feel they have have extorted money from me & have acted in bad faith. John Gregory.

Was not in the country for 6 months
Was not in the country for 6 months. Came home to find 6-7 letters. Accusing me of driving off without paying. The case had already reached moorside legal company. I contacted them and sent them the pictures of my car and the car which was taken by forecourt eye. Big difference on the number plate as my car got Y and the car in forecourt eye image got a V. Still they would not agree and gave me 7 days to pay otherwise I will get a CCJ. Pathetic THIEVES

Be cautious of this Shell station – terrible customer service and shady third-party debt collection.
I’ve been a regular customer at Shell in Solihull for years, filling up petrol weekly without any issues. But recently, I received a threatening letter from a company called Forecourt Eye (acting on behalf of the station), claiming I left without paying and demanding a penalty. I had no idea there was a problem — turns out my card was declined during the transaction, but no one at the station informed me at the time.
I called Forecourt Eye multiple times and left several voicemails, but never got a response. There’s no proper appeal process — just pay the fine or face further action. It feels more like a scam than a professional service.
When I went back to the station to speak with the manager, he casually said, “Your card was declined, and we were too busy to notice.” No apology, no ownership — just a weak excuse. I asked for CCTV footage to clarify the situation, and he said it's already been deleted (apparently they only keep 30 days of footage).
It’s frustrating that a genuine mistake — likely on their side — turned into a penalty demand with no fair process or investigation. I can’t help but wonder if there's some kind of arrangement between this station and Forecourt Eye, given how quickly and aggressively the case was escalated.
If you’re filling up here, keep your receipts and double-check everything. This experience has left a really bad taste.

Absolutely disgusting people
Absolutely disgusting people. Tesco will have records of me filling up there for the last 10 years, this is an obvious mistake and they do not care. £40 to send a letter is literally disgusting. Horrible people
