Very similar to all others. My son received a letter form Forecourt Eye stating he had not paid for £23.01 fuel on 18.9.25. He had gone to the cashier and told him the pump number. Then grabbed some food. The cashier did not ring up the fuel just the food items. My son's phone was not charged so he used a bank card. Did not get a receipt and left. Was not aware that the cahier did not include the fuel when he 'tapped' as my son had asked. We offered to pay for the fuel and disputed the £35 admin charge as feel strongly it was a cashier error. My son no longer has this car so getting more fuel is not an issue as they threaten in their letter! Whilst disputing the admin charge it has now risen to £60 as we have gone past the 14 days despite me pointing out the letter was dated 16.10.25 but took a week to get to us and we were in email discussions disputing the fee. I feel very strongly they are a rogue company that just scam money from anyone! If we don't pay the now £83.01 charge they will pass our debt to debt collectors.

I wish I could give this company…0 -0
I wish I could give this company somewhere below even 0. This is fraud company trying to scam people with their admin fee of 200 pounds and which will be increasing to 100 pound extra if you have not paid straight away . Secondly they don’t even give any time to investigate the incident legally. Don’t use any shell service stations as they are trapping innocent people to show at the till the payment has been made but then after 4 weeks they will send letter that you left the service station without paying . Even you provide proof of Receipt they will still blame you and nickel the money to pleased their workers . Big scammers and thief’s this company also the shell service station Kennford Exeter.

Bloodsuckers
An awful Company to deal with but they advertise to their "Clients" who are the big petrol retailers a 5:1 return on every £ they give Forecourt! More profits.
I have used the local Shell garage in Henfield, W Sussex for the last 43 years and in September went in to fill my wifes car with petrol. Like many others I thought I had paid using my card and CCTV image clearly shows me trying to pay. Attendant said it was OK and I left. However Forecourt contacted me 3 weeks later and said I drove off without paying and had to pay immediately plus a £35 admin charge. Immediately wrote back and said I was unaware of not paying and please update my account to show fuel charge less their admin fee as it was not my fault.
Reply was pay up or else further action, Wrote back enclosing a cheque and Forecourt response was no thanks and I also found out the admin fee had gone up.
I am 75 years old with blood pressure and heart lssues and can really do without this.
Their Customer Service is 0/10 their customer consideration is minus 500/10 and they are a cold, inefficient mob to deal with.
My relationship with the local garage and Shell is OVER and I take every opportunity to tell friends and relatives NEVER to use a Shell garage as they use these bloodsuckers.
PS. The admin fee has now risen to £120!!

Same story as other reviewers
Same story as other reviewers. I purchased petrol at Tesco metro and when the cashier told me it was completed I left and didn’t give it another thought until I received a Forecourt letter stating I had not paid for fuel. Again, there is a picture of me holding up my phone at the cashier to pay. When a cashier confirms the payment has gone through you believe them. I did have concerns about this being a scam letter so checked the company credentials. I now wonder if Tesco the metro cashier did this deliberately? I will never use that service station again. Tesco Metro Clifton Lane Express Nottingham and will be informing Tesco they need to train their cashiers properly before they are working at the till.

Wrong car wrong reg wrong person wrong address
I received a payment demand based on a misread licence plate. Fortunately the photo evidence clearly showed a vehicle without a factory fitted sunroof, which my car has, a receipt with no veh. reg. no. and at a place I've never been in the vicinity of.
Obviously looked up a guessed reg no and identified it as my diesel car which was fuelled with unpaid petrol.
Due diligence would negate false representation and intimidation of innocent victims.

I received a letter from Forecourt Eye
I received a letter from Forecourt Eye, demanding I pay for fuel and an admin charge for driving off after getting fuel at a Shell Garage just outside Coleshill in Birmingham. This garage has no pedestrian access and sits on a busy dual carriageway.
I had used the service station to put fuel into my car, then went in to pay and get some water and sweets to get me on my way, I paid with my card, tap and go, after informing of the pump I used, was asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no thank you and carried on my way.
It seems that the service person inside did not add the fuel to my bill, and just charged me for my water. I had not noticed they had not added the fuel, I taped and went.
I asked Forecourt Eye to review this as it was not a drive off but an error / mistake by the service station staff.
I was happy to pay for the fuel as it was just a mistake by the staff but do not see why the admin charge should be paid for due to their mistake at the till.
They refused and the letter advised that if I did not pay I would be banned from drawing fuel from all petrol stations.
When you tap and go so often no one reads the figures and just assume that the staff are doing their job correctly.
I was horrified to think I’d done a drive by and disgusted at this company, accusing me of being a criminal…so much so that after reading all these reviews of this repeated experience I wonder if the attendants or forecourts are on some sort of commission from this process. Might get legal advice and maybe a freedom of information request.
Here was forecourt eyes response:
Thank you for your enquiry.
Fuel Payment Transactions
When you obtain fuel or other goods from a forecourt operator you enter into a contract to pay for those goods and services. Got grumpy when I said I had proof of payment.
Eventually managed to actually speak to an 'adviser' who was OK to start with but then got grumpy and short with me when I said I actually had a receipt for the time, date and location they claimed I'd driven off from without paying. Instead of actually dealing with it, now I have to send an email recounting everything I've already said. Definitely needs work on customer service.

Vile company
Vile company - Aaron in particular a disgusting, lazy, ignorant pig. Clearly a clerical error where they have created a duplicate case against me for non payment but couldn't be bothered to help me.
A disgusting bullying company who I will report to trading standards today.
