I guess this is on me for not scouring through the fine print, but it's pretty crappy to say that you get $20 in closet cash for each Take Back bag ($20 that YOU pay in advance to get the bag, mind you) and then cap you at a maximum of $20 closet cash usage per order. Almost nothing on the site costs less than $20 and you cannot apply the closet cash to the $9 shipping flat fee. I was really excited to find somewhere I could send my fabric recycling since there are no in-person options near me, but I'll be looking elsewhere in the future.

I loved having the option to recycle our well-used clothes. However the closet cash thing seems to be a scam because I have more. n't figured out how to use it without paying significant amounts of money. I received the bag as a gift. Otherwise, I'd be downright angry.

I've ordered recycling bags from For Days without issue prior to my last interaction, so I'll put an extra star for that. I ordered 4 recycling bags back in September, and waited a few weeks without any shipping updates. I reached out to support and waited a few days, never got a response back. Still no shipping updates after almost three weeks. I had to file a charge dispute with Paypal before they FINALLY shipped my things, and of course they forgot the shipping labels. Absolutely unacceptable, I shouldn't have to file disputes to get my things.

The bad: I didn't get the thing I paid for. Ordered a Take Back Bag, an empty mailer that you fill with unusable textiles to be recycled. Estimated ship time was 10-15 days. That feels pretty long when you're used to free 2-day shipping ... but I was willing to be patient. After 20 days with no shipping update, I contacted support (you can only do this via email, with an auto-reply telling you to expect a reply in 1-2 business days). They got back to me at the end of the 2 days and told me the bags were backordered (not stated on the site or during checkout) and would ship "by the end of next week," or about 27 business days after purchase. If you're looking to shop here for sustainability reasons (as I was), you might know the Take Bag Bag is a major part of For Days' marketing and business model -- they say their products are sustainable because For Days will take them back and recycle them. The company doesn't share much about actual material sourcing or the specific impact of its manufacturing and recycling. Most of its environmentalist claims are based on this bag ... which they weren't able to sell me. The good: Customer service did reply within its self-set deadline (1-2 days) and, after I threatened to request a chargeback on my card, promptly canceled my order and refunded my money. No issues once I got hold of a rep.

Ordered another color of a shirt I liked and received one that was 2x the size of the other (but was still an XS). The production team said that this item was not pre-shrunk and it should have been. The item is now out of stock so I can't repurchase, and they offered to allow me to return or keep it and receive a 50% discount code on my next purchase. I opted to return. However, I feel they should have offered something more for the hassle of weeks of going back and forth with them to resolve receiving this inferior product and having to go through the steps of returning it without being able to immediately buy a new one (or have one shipped automatically when one became available). Especially as I was and would've continued being a repeat customer. Will not be buying from them again now. There are more customer-centric sustainable options out there.

Unfortunately I have agree with some of the other poor reviews here. I really wanted to like the product but am incredibly disappointed in it. I usually wear a xs/s in tops and had to exchange an order of small t's to mediums which are still way too small! Unless you are someone with ZERO curves and no shoulders these shirts will likely not fit as you would expect. Either that or the sizing is for children.

Going off what Jessica said: their sizing is discriminatory and their response/shipping time is horrible. I'm mid size, and usually wear a size 14 but their largest XXL short sleeve shirts are almost fitted on me. They are also only to my hip and I am 5’2’. Unfortunately I kept 2/3 of the shirts due to long waits. My order placed 11/28/2020 and received my order 6 weeks later. Then I realized they sent me a navy shirt instead of a black one I ordered. Instead of immediately sending me a black one and sending me a shipping label for the exchange which I assumed would take another 6 weeks. I asked for a refund instead and then that took another 2 weeks. I really wanted to love them and I understand they are understaffed and some delays may be warranted (they sent out a few emails about this, but these emails said to expect only a 1-2 week wait), however, this is just kind of absurd. They really need to staff up if their demand is this high. I'm really bummed because I love the ethos of this company and want to support but my first experience being this poor makes me think twice about reordering from them.

I want to echo what Rosie said: their sizing is discriminatory. I'm on the curvy side, and usually wear a 31 in Madewell jeans. I'm a pretty normal sized woman. I wear a Large in Fordays T-shirts and a large in most yoga pants/sweats. Recently, I ordered an XL in a Fordays long sleeve and L in their recycled pants - and they were laughably mal-sized. The t-shirts had ridiculously long sleeves (like 6 inches past my finger tips) but were still too thin in the bust and hips to fit any average sized woman. The pants were strangely very loose in the waist, but tight in the thighs and again, way too long. It's very obvious from the sizing that they used a thin stock model for the smaller sizes and simply multiplied measurements to get the larger sizes. The larger sized make nooo sense. I complained to their customer service and the person that appears to be their only customer service associate (she answers all the emails I have sent out), Nadia, was really helpful and sent me a 50% off promo code for an exchange. So I returned my old stuff and bought new stuff immediately. That's where things get worse. It's been three weeks since I made my order and they still haven't even shipped it. Also, I can see that they received my return on the 2nd but I still haven't received a refund. I understand they are understaffed and some delays may be warranted (they sent out a few emails about this, but these emails said to expect only a 1-2 week wait), however, this is just kind of absurd. They really need to staff up if their demand is this high. I'm really bummed because I love the ethos of this company and want to support them. But all of this BS goin on really breaks my trust in the company.
