Thanks for the review! Glad the hardware's been solid for you, that's something we put a lot of work into. High latency on vanilla servers usually comes down to routing between you and the node region rather than the machine itself, and that is often fixable with a transfer. If you open a ticket we can take a look.

Just a quick note that a full-screen popup does open at checkout to select your region, so the option is there, though we understand it can be easy to click through quickly. We will keep thinking about ways to make the location clearer throughout the order process.
