I've worked with tis place off and on through the years. It's gone from bad to worse. I'm beginning to think thrmthey may be having financial issues or at least integrity issues. Getting paid always did take patience and eventually a ticket to support to get paid. It's now been 6 weeks and support tickets are not being responded to. The surveys where you evaluate an item always functioned well, like clockwork. They pay well if you can get the reward. The online web questionnaires are another scam. How many times I answered questions 10, 15, even 20 minutes to be dumped out of the survey. It was a way for them to harvest what they need and not pay up. It's really been nothing but a joke. They need to get new management in here.

I wish I had read the reviews before investing my time in this company. I completed a survey over a month ago and still haven't been paid. There doesn't appear to be anyway to contact a live person for help. Moreover, many of their surveys pay less than a dollar. I joined Focus Group after having a great experience with NewtonX. They pay immediately - as soon as you submit your responses they send you an email to collect your payment.

I have worked with Focus group for years now and never had to wait over 7 weeks to be paid. From the other reviews I see it seems like when they partnered with Sago it has gone downhill. I reached out via their ticketing system 3 times with no answer.

No communication with it's panelists regarding incentives and takes a rediculous time to receive any incentives. Much better options out there than this rubbish. I requested a $60 virtual visa card on 5/20/2026. It is now 7/7/2026. Absolutely absurd amount of time to be waiting on compansation. When i first started doing studies for them it was about a 23 day wait time, and i would get responses to my inquiries if compensation had not come in that time frame. Now it's been a month and a half since requst and no replies to my attempts to reach out about it. I am about to call it quits with them, this is not how your suppose to treat the people who make your company go round. Horrible.

I am in my 5th week waiting on my reward. After waiting 2 months the first time, I swore not to go back. I did, cause i need the money. still taking too long to get my reward. never going back to them.

The first time it happened to me that I waited what seemed like a long, long time to get rewarded, I swore I would never do a gig for them, again. But, I did, because they offer so many tiny jobs that eventually I get enough points to get something. I got so frustrated trying to contact somebody there, and getting progressively less response, I finally found an address for their legal department and posted a letter asking for an explanation. First, they apologized, then threatened to throw me off of their panel. They said I hadn't waited the full 42 days for the reward, and that I should have read the small print in their disclaimer. Now, I don't expect to see any reward for the full 6 weeks they say it might take. But today, it's 6 weeks, and - nothing. Not a word. I'm convinced their "help"address is an inhuman robot, and my pleas die right there and never go to anyone who can help. They even have the nerve to say people should call them at their phone number, but neglect to give a number. If you like frustration, give them a try. They will happily oblige.

This is my experience with Focusgroup.com aka Focus Pointe Global. You need to accumulate 5,000 points which is $50 before you can collect your reward in the form of a physical or virtual gift card. The email you get after redeeming points states it will take 4-6 weeks to process your payout. For every 10 or more surveys I started, I was only able to successfully complete one or two of them. I kept getting the message that I didn’t qualify or I had already taken that survey. It’s frustrating when you have spent 10 minutes answering specific questions that go beyond demographics (age, gender, location, income etc.) and receive the message that the survey is terminated. Once I finally got to the point of redeeming there was a very quick message that flashed up on my computer screen that stated they are currently experiencing significant delays…. I immediately received an email stating, “Redemption fulfilment occurs approximately 4-6 weeks after your request.” This was not good news. If you use other survey sights you know that redeeming points can be instantaneous and with a lower threshold like 1,000 points. I also noticed that the time shown to take a survey on the selection screen is often different from the time you are shown once you start the survey. Example: I started one today that showed 2 minutes yet after answering a bunch of questions I received a message to start the survey which would take 20 minutes. It’s like a bait and switch. Some of the surveys have invasive privacy policies and want to share your name, email, phone number, and address with other companies. I am okay with surveys that collect usage and product information as long as it's anonymous. Be mindful that some of those cookies they put on your computer appear to track what websites you are visiting after you are done with the survey. The problem I have with this type of activity is that it’s not obvious. You must take the initiative to click on the privacy policy and read through several pages of irrelevant content to find out what they are tracking. Some companies are very forthright about what they collect and others have it buried.
