While we cannot speak to any specific incident due to our strict adherence to patient privacy laws, we can advise on our general policies and procedures for all patients. At FMLA MD, we value our staff very highly. As we work in a field where many people come to us to request leave due to difficult and harmful work environments, we are committed to ensuring our work environment is never that. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression or abuse against any of our employees, and anyone who rises to this level of discourse is immediately discharged. We're so sorry that you felt that you did not receive the service that you needed. While we cannot speak to any specific situation due to our strict adherence to patient privacy laws, we can advise on our overall process and requirements. We work with every patient and reach out 5-7 times the first two weeks after certification if we have not received forms. We are only able to complete the paperwork as advised necessary by the employer or the patient. If we do not receive that paperwork, we cannot issue forms for any specific patient. Our initial certification is a medical service and is not contingent on completion of the initial paperwork. Our policies are clear in our initial paperwork, and we have to adhere strictly to these policies in order to ensure that we are providing the highest level of medical care to all of the patients under our care. Additionally, our 50-state licensed practitioners are board-certified and nationally accredited in their fields. We have supported hundreds of patients to receiving their leave, and we plan to continue to do that through our strongly vetted and proven processes. We wish you the best of luck going forward.

While we cannot speak to the precise situation due to our strict adherence to patient privacy laws, we can share about our policies and procedures for all patients. We are only able to complete the paperwork that we are advised by either the patient or employer that needs to be completed. If we do not receive that follow up, we are unable to complete forms or forward them to an employer on the patient's behalf. We reach out to the patient through both email and internal communication systems 5-7 times within the first two weeks. If patients do not respond, we must wait for follow up. We do not complete paperwork or reach out to an employer without strict direction from the patient due to privacy laws. I do apologize if you feel that these services were not provided, but our protocols are clearly stated in our initial documents. We wish you the best of luck.

I apologize that you feel your experience was poor. While I cannot respond directly to a specific situation due to patient privacy laws, I can share about our overall processes for all patients. Our initial paperwork advises of the costs for each part of the process, and the form requires a signature acknowledging that this was reviewed. Further, the provider reviews the potential additional fees with every patient at the end of the initial visit and throughout the process. Our costs for our service are fully transparent and shared also in the initial email after booking. Additionally, we do offer a federal form that can be filled out for no additional charge as we understand that the additional fee is not always manageable for all patients. Further, we do not have a fee for any service that we provide for $60, so I cannot speak to where this information came from. We have served nearly 1,000 patients with our expert medical team of board-certified practitioners, and we plan to continue to do that by followed these strongly proven processes. While we cannot speak to precisely your experience because of our strict adherence to patient privacy laws, I can advise that all patients receive multiple reminders and outreaches regarding visits that come by text and email. The email address must be entered correctly in order for any of these notifications to be delivered. Further, any patient who misses their appointment is emailed and called, and if the patient does not respond, they are given an option to reschedule. This is done in every instance in order to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
