Extremely Slow Support and a Development Project Brought to a Standstill
I chose FlyWP to simplify managing a WordPress/BuddyBoss development environment on AWS. Instead, it has been one of the most frustrating support experiences I've had. My initial server provisioning failed due to an error on FlyWP's side. After I contacted support, they re-provisioned the server, but new issues followed. I lost SSH access to my development server, PHP was changed from the version I originally selected, and HTTPS was not properly configured. As a result, I was completely blocked from developing my website. The biggest disappointment has been customer support. Responses are extremely slow, often taking 24 hours or more between replies. Every response leads to another day of waiting, turning what should have been a simple issue into a week-long ordeal. When your development project is at a standstill, this level of support is simply unacceptable. Even more frustrating, there was no opportunity to speak with an engineer when the problems occurred. Instead of offering a timely live support session, I had to wait days for an engineering appointment while my project remained completely blocked. I invested in my own AWS infrastructure, expecting FlyWP to make server management easier. Instead, I've spent far more time troubleshooting provisioning problems than actually building my BuddyBoss website. The platform may have potential, but the customer support experience has been extremely disappointing. If your business depends on timely support or you're working under project deadlines, be aware that resolving technical issues may take much longer than expected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend FlyWP due to its poor provisioning experience, extremely slow response times, and lack of timely live technical support when critical issues occur.
