FlyNYONReviews of flynyon.com

2 star review for FlyNYON Helicopter Tour. The overall experience was decent and the ride itself was smooth once in the air. However, there were several issues that need improvement. The helicopter condition felt average and could benefit from better maintenance. Seating was assigned by the pilot based on a list, likely for weight balance, but this was not clearly communicated. We had paid extra for priority seating, which was not honored during boarding, making it feel like an unnecessary charge. Also, the flight path stays over the river and does not go directly over the city as shown in promotional material, which was a bit misleading. Overall, the ride was fine, but better transparency and honoring paid upgrades would significantly improve the experience.

I was quite disappointed with the experience. The 30-minute flight advertises several key landmarks that simply were not delivered. For example, we did not fly over Times Square, we did not pass over the 9/11 Memorial, and we were nowhere near the Empire State Building in the way the photos suggest. The helicopter stayed around the outskirts of Manhattan and never actually flew over the island itself. However, based on the photos shown on the FlyNYON website, the expectation is clearly that the flight goes directly over these iconic locations which is not the case. Overall, this feels misleading. The experience does not match what is being advertised, and the images create an expectation that isn’t fulfilled.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. I was running a little late, and they made me wait 3.5 hours. It honestly felt like my time didn’t matter to them. If your from New York city and know you gonna be alittle bit late don't book with this people at all 🥲.

Muito insatisfeito pôr não ser avisado, antes de efetuar o pagamento, que teria que chegar 1:15 hs antes do horário do voo.

After being recommended by a number of friends we booked this but our experience was so different. Incredibly disappointing and not enough is mentioned about being sat alone as ‘co-pilot’. Sitting away from my partner not being able to take photos together. Not being able to enjoy the experience together. It was incredibly upsetting and disappointing, I was visibly upset and crying and I spoke to a man on reception who actually treated me like something on the bottom of his shoe. He could not have cared less. For someone who is looking to do this there should be much more mentioned about this. For someone who was nervous of flying being left alone. We paid to ensure we got the side of the helicopter, so we paid extra and to be treated so poorly by staff and to be left alone and basically experience something what should have been so amazing back to back with my partner was such a disappointing way to celebrate my 30th birthday. I feel robbed of the experience and the fact this cost us so much most to have such a poor experience with staff and not being together is honestly still so upsetting. The guy who checked us in initially was great but after that the staff was poor dismissive and down right rude.

I contacted them through Instagram DM and I paid extra fees for the shoe selfie seats for both my husband and I but they have a seat which has a window and that was allocated to my husband and only I got the shoe selfie seats. On the other side of the helicopter. There are no windows and it is completely opened. Those people had not even paid extra for the shoe selfie seats and they were lucky to get it but they were so scared they barely put their legs out. We on other hand were excited, paid more and got window seat. If you get the middle seats then it’s even worse. I Do not recommend this at all. Please book a doors on flight for lesser price and better experiences.
