FlyNYONReviews of flynyon.com

Some employee on a power trip he has from a job he left 15 years ago literally went into the parking lot and started grabbing items in our car!!! We asked him to stop and he said he can do it because hes an EX state trooper! Its not even legal if you even were an actual state trooper!!! Place cancled us twice now and is extremely unprofessional.

WORST OPERATOR EVER - DO NOT BOOK!!! One point, just because there is no opportunity to select 0. We booked a Flynyon Flight in NY on our last day. We booked with this operated because of the open doors. Due to the weather we could not fly, but that was not the problem. First they let us wait for several hours dressed uo and ready to goy with literally no information when the flight could start. After a few hours they told us they won't be flying that day. We could NOT GET A REFUND, just a silly voucher, even though the flight did cost around 700$. It was our last day and we were not able to fly in the next few months, but they told us we would get the exact same package for the same prize when we would come again. Now we booked a trip to NY again, but Flynyon told us we would have to pay another 750$ extra to get the same flight - that's not what we agreed on. I understand that weather conditions can be bad, but that is no customer service to charge extra money, if they told us we could get the exact same flight later in the year. !!!JUST SO DISAPPOINTING TO SEE HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS WHO PAY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!!!

On the day of the flight, flynyon canceled my sunset flight for no reason. After consulting and calling, we got a flight at 6 p.m. Flynyon simply keeps the additional costs for the sunset flight, which is of course also a business model. I can definitely recommend the flight to my friends and family who come here and also take a flight, but not their company. It's a shame about the pilot, he flew us very well and was very courteous. FlyNyon is just a bunch of scammers. They’ll sell you this “shoe-selfie guarantee” on their Doors off flight, but my girlfriend was placed beside a closed door and had to see the flight throug a window. When we come back to complain, this rude little bug behind the desk tells us “its TECHNICALLY a shoe selfie seat, and its a great experience anyway” What a weak answer. We will never recommend this to any one. Its a big scam!

Beware this company is a scam, was sold two tickets to fly and paid nearly £200 and once I paid the company gave me a voucher towards the flight seats not the actual tickets for the flight. This behaviour should not be allowed as this is mis selling. I also thought that a company operating this would give a refund as I contacted them straight away about it, they answered and said read terms and conditions!!! Really !!!

This company is a scam. They will rip you off. Be aware. The flight is beautiful, but the last-minute price charges are a deceive. > Misleading advertising: I decided to go with the "Buy now, schedule later" offer with 70% doors-off discount called "NYC HELICOPTER CLASSIC - Sunset" for two people. Price for two 1976 USD after discount & adding a unexpected booking fee of 195 USD it totals to 787 USD. When I wanted to schedule the flight months later, there was no possibility to book the flight for this price even many months ahead. So in total I ended paying more than double (1791 USD instead). Cancelling the reserved tickets, and go with another company was not an option, as I already had done a 787 USD first payment. > Useless membership: Additional they push you into a monthly 5.99USD Membership (to get the price stated above) with no additional value for the customer. Just aiming that the customer forget to cancel it, which might happen to many customers. > “Shoe-Selfie Seat Guarantee”: We paid 400 USD for us both, just to have this “guarantee”. We got one seat at the “open door” but the other seat was beside a closed window. So 200 USD were in vain. Therefore you need to know that 5-6 People fly with an helicopter (One beside the pilot, two facing backwards and tree facing forwards). So only one seat is in the middle between two seats. So all other seats are a seat with this “Guarantee”.

Bello il volo ma quando prenoti con l’inganno ti fanno sottoscrivere un servizio e ti prelevano 5€ al mese dalla carta di credito nonostante abbia chiesto di annullare la mia sottoscrizione più volte.

According to the website they have "no set route" but they certainly do: directly over my house three times an hour at low altitudes They fly at sea level over the Hackensack river at sunset until you beam them with your binocs and then they magically gain altitude These reviews just underscore how absolutely unnecessary this company is. I'll be very happy to see them shut down
