FlothemesReviews of flothemes.com

Run away! They are migrating off of Wordpress for just Pixieset. The dropped the news on their clients very recently, but continue to sell the theme. I just redid my website last winter and now apparently I’ll be redoing it AGAIN. They’ve known this was coming since 2021. Why wait except out of greed. Hope you see this before they delete this as they’ve been doing for other negative reviews!

Nein Danke!

REASONS WHY NOT TO GET FLOTHEMES: -Custom service is SO BAD. Yes, they answer you every 24 hr but they never seem to understand exactly what you are talking about and its an endless dance of sending and receiving emails that don't get you anywhere really. -Flex Blocks are not good for SEO. So pretty much you have to build all your blog posts on Wordpress without using anything from Flothemes. (whats the point on getting Flothemes if you can't use blocks to design?!!) -Yoast doesn't read blocks, so you won't be able to use yoast to help you build and design your website and make sure everything its fine. -Wordpress doesn't run well with Flothemes anymore. Every time Wordpress upgrade their version you might run into problems on your website. I've heard many people that don't have problems, but my website right now for example is white because Flothemes is not compatible with the new version 6.2 of Wordpress. - They have zero knowledge on SEO, and they dont guide you well on this at all. - You'll be stuck paying them every single year, since their subscription is yearly.

So far I have not had a good experience. I really want to use their products but I am having no luck whatsoever with Customer Service. No answer on the phone. They finally responded on Facebook messenger and vaguely responded "Oh, sad to hear that. I'm afraid that we our hands tied up in this situation". They ignored all of my questions! I never ever do this but how frustrating is that response! I'm hoping someone can step up and offer help and good service so that I can change this review but this is currently where I am.

DO NOT BUY A THEME FOR YOUR WEBSITE!!! We had our website running the Fiji theme. Went to go on the site yesterday and it's completely not working. Dropped off Google, no enquiries coming through. No help from Flothemes. They have discontinued the theme and advised themes are only supposed to run for 2 years. WHAT? Who would build their website with a theme in the knowledge that it could be shut down and the website completely unusable WITHOUT NOTICE at any point after 2 years. I am horrified at the service from this company. FYI this has real world consequences, my website is where I get all my work. We have just suffered through the pandemic unable to work for over a year and now all my hard work on SEO and getting on page 1 of Google is totally trashed.
