I booked a villa through FloridaRentals and unfortunately had a very bad experience with the property itself, including serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. What disappointed me most about FloridaRentals was the lack of support when I tried to contact them for help. I reached out several times because I was having significant problems with the villa and wanted assistance in resolving the situation, but I did not receive any response whatsoever. When you use a holiday rental platform, you expect there to be some level of support if a property turns out to be very different from what you reasonably expected. In our case, we were left to deal with everything ourselves with the booking contacts and property management. The villa had major issues, including poor cleanliness, air conditioning not working on arrival and problems with the private pool. Despite this, FloridaRentals did not step in to help us when we contacted them. I found this extremely disappointing. A platform should not just advertise properties and take bookings or enquiries, there should also be effective customer support when something goes seriously wrong. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident using FloridaRentals again.

I have tried to book property #23038 for the month of February all afternoon. The property will be rented before I can find customer service. This is Horrible service for this large of a expenditure.

I cancelled within the time period allowed, but the owner of the property does not respond when I asked for a refund of my $1000 deposit as the contract stated was allowed. Florida Rentals is likely not responsible but this may speak of any vetting process of owners they may or may not have. They also did not respond when I made them aware via messaging on their site. I will only deal with property managers and not owners who may or may not be honest in the future.

For no reason, and despite always saying to never put me on any marketing list, they are spamming me. I cannot trust a business that does this

Florida rental has too many scammers, I asked for a property and I got two responses and didn't realize one or both were scammers. The platform will not respond let alone help in any way. Stay away from Florida rentals.com.

Rented a place in July & paid nearly $1000 down-payment. Received ZERO communication and zero replies to emails. Had to place down-payment in dispute THE DAY BEFORE OUR TRIP BEGAN. Only then did I get a reply email, learning that I did not sign a rental agreement, so the house was rented to someone else. DO NOT RENT FROM FLORIDA RENTALS.COM!!!!!!

I would never use Vacassa again!! We stayed at a condo in Panams City Beach and were greeted in the master suite by a locked master bedroom closet! The owners kept all of their valuables in it, and we had no place to keep our dresses and suits for 10 days. The 3D photo showed a closet and when we asked for a reasonable refund, we were given 3.5% back. Mere chump change. Because there was no dresser as well, we had to keep our dress clothes and underwear in the bathroom on hooks and in drawers! I was very aggravated, to say the least, at the owners' and Vacassa's lack of concern! THEN, they would not let me give a review. Vacassa blocked the review option on their email receipt. It said, "oops, not working"!!
