Hello Eric. This is FixTman Operations Management. When the installer came out to your location on-site, he realized that he also has to move the boxes to the installation space; this detail was not mentioned before but he moved the boxes for you without any charges (whereas this type of task is charged at $100-$150). This took him multiple hours to do. Also, your gazebo is a type that needs to be secured to the ground. Therefore, the technician tried multiple local stores and spent an hour and a half in order to find the necessary bolts and anchors for securing your gazebo, but you told him that he can only assemble the gazebo and you will secure it yourself later. The technician was not assembling a gazebo for the first time; he had assembled multiple gazebos before and he has references, but his method included securing the bases into the ground first. Since he was told to stick to assembly only, he could not proceed further with his own method, and that is why he could not complete the project on his own. Regarding the holes on the ground, it is necessary to drill holes into the ground to have the gazebo secured. He was not told in the beginning that he is not needed to secure it, and he was following his procedure for a standard and complete installation. We are sorry for the inconvenience of this project, but we tried to accommodate for this project with the resources that we had at our disposal. Regards, FixTman
