FixTman LLCReviews of fixtman.com

I needed to mount my TV on top of a fireplace. The space I needed to mount the TV was hollow and required some additional work. The team knew exactly what to do and provided the perfect solution and service. Would recommend their services any day!

The customer service reps who handle booking for this company appear to be based at a call center in the Philippines. We tried to hire them to install a pergola on our deck, but they rescheduled on us twice before we decided to cancel. Both times, we were expecting someone to come at 8am, then got a call from their call center telling us the technician would come between 5pm and 7pm instead. This pergola would have taken a minimum of 6 hours to install. We've got two young kids and lots of neighbors, so a late-night construction project makes zero sense. Communication was stilted and often didn't make sense - probably because it was coming from a bunch of different people on the other side of the world. I really recommend you go with someone local instead of this company -- check out horror stories on TrustPilot that talk about them sending "technicians" who don't have any experience in the work they've been hired to do.

Do NOT use this service especially if you just purchased a brand new renovated house! I reached out to them via Thumbtack regarding a TV mounting and mentioned I don’t want the wires showing. I have NEVER had a TV mounted and trusted the “specialist” would advise me accordingly. They did give valuable input on the type of mounting bracket to use, but that’s it! They presented the on wall concealment option ONLY. I purchased a soundbar later and the plastic concealment obstructs the surround system mount. I thought “surely getting a TV & soundbar mounted is a common task”. So I go to their website and SEE that there is an IN wall concealment option! An option that was never mentioned to me! I reached out to the company again for the in wall/sound bar mount (I know! Why would I use them again?!). I asked for credit for the price of the on wall since they’re literally removing their own product to replace with another of their products due to NOT advising the customer of both options. In the process of removing the on wall, paint on my BRAND NEW house was stripped off! The technicians who did the actual work were wonderful, friendly, and great at explaining how everything works! However, the “management” here is absolutely atrocious! On top of that, the gentleman I spoke with wonderfully kept talking over me (please note the sarcasm)! I have 3 other TV/sound bars that need to be mounted and will NOT be going to them again. So if anyone knows of a good TV mounting service in Plano, please let me know! ***You “offered” me a refund AFTER I wrote an accurate, yet negative review in hopes of me taking down my review. I requested to have my wall repainted (as I have extra paint) and you did not reply…. Until days later and on this forum. I guess your email and cell phone stopped working at the same time. So not only are y’all unprofessional, but yall are also comfortable with blatantly lying! 10/10 would NOT recommend ****

Trash company!! When the tech finally arrived we found out they had been lying to both of us! They had been telling us that the tech cancelled and telling the tech that we cancelled (verified by messages from them to us) They continue to harass us after we canceled with them. The techs company cancelled their contract with fixtman as I guess this happenes often. Their "manager" Boris keeps harassing my wife (on mothers day) to get in a phone call after we have told them no repeatedly and to stop. We spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with them yesterday and their "management team" refusing to get on the phone and solve it. Don't walkaway from these people, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

It was a nightmare dealing with this company. I had hired them to install my pergola. I reached out to them ahead of time asking what materials are needed and how it should be correctly installed. I purchased all the materials they asked me to get. After the work was done, my pergola was shaking even with a gentle push.. when I told them it is not installed correctly and a step is missing from the installation manual, they said that no that step is not required. When I called the customer service, the contractor stormed inside my house threatening me to make the payment. I made the payment and scheduled someone to come in for QC inspection. The QC guy confirmed that it was incorrectly installed. They scheduled another appointment to fix it. When they came back to fix it they denied again and said that they cant fix it because they had to dismantle and reInstall everything

Although the handymen were polite and very friendly - they had no clue on what they were doing. I requested a simple job, to move curtain rod brackets up the wall by 1-ft. They didnt come prepared, they didn't have all the tools needed. They had to leave and go to the hardware store twice, (and still didnt get the correct tools needed). I was left with more holes in the wall than what was necessary. Now I have to pay someone else to fix this mess. I wish I would've read reviews on this company before making an appointment.

I'm so happy with the installation of my hardtop gazebo. The technician was knowledgeable and supportive with the process. Will use service again and send referrals if needed. Excellent work!!

On line booking and payment was easy and simple. Gentleman assembled my home gym. He was on time, very kind and professional. I love it
