Thank you for sharing your feedback. We'd like to clarify that our search rankings are not based solely on the commission. While commission is one of the factors that can influence ranking, it is only one part of a much broader system that also takes into account things like reliability, reviews, instant book, verification, and other factors. Our goal is to provide customers with the best possible booking experience while giving captains multiple ways to improve their visibility on the platform. If you have specific concerns about your listing or ranking, we'd be happy to review them with you and provide more context.

We're very sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to go so long without a response from the captain while trying to plan your trip. We'd like to look into exactly what happened with your reservation and the deposit so we can review it fairly and make things right where we can. To do that, we'll need to locate your booking on our end. When you have a moment, please reach out to us at [email protected] with the name or email address used for the reservation, and our team will be happy to investigate the details with you directly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we truly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.

We’re very sorry that you had a negative experience with a captain booked through our platform. We understand how frustrating it must have been when the captain did not show up. Your refund has already been processed, and we have sent the refund receipt to your email for confirmation. In addition, we’ve added a $100 credit to your account for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, our system does not allow customers to leave a review for a trip when the service was not provided. However, an automated review is posted on the captain’s listing in these situations, and our team investigates what happened and takes appropriate action to help ensure it does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we truly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.

Thanks for taking the time to share your concerns. We take matters like this very seriously. Safety is our top priority, and we do not penalize captains for canceling trips due to unsafe weather conditions. The captain always has the final say when it comes to safety, and we fully support their decision if conditions are unsafe to run a trip. We reached out to you prior to writing this reply to learn more about your experience so we could look into it, but we didn’t hear back. If you’re willing, we’d really appreciate you getting in touch and sharing a specific example of what led you to this conclusion. That would allow us to properly review the situation and take action if anything was handled incorrectly. We’re always here to help and take feedback seriously, so please feel free to reach out if you’d like to continue the conversation or need assistance.

Dear Jake, I’m very sorry to hear that your trip did not go as planned. After reviewing the details, we confirmed that the boat you were placed on was not the one you had originally booked. As a result, we have refunded your deposit in full. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this caused. We value your trust and hope this experience won’t discourage you from trying another trip with one of our captains in the future. We’d love the chance to provide you with the memorable experience you were looking forward to.
