I keep track daily of your opinion of…
I keep track daily of your opinion of fishing conditions at my private pond and lake Palestine 10 miles away. I don't like the Hotspots on the opening page. I have found that the measure my catch is short by about 15%, I've checked it multiple times.
Response from Fishbox.comMay 12, 2026
We really appreciate you taking the time to share it. It’s great to hear that you’re actively using Fishbox to track conditions. We also appreciate the honest notes about our features. Please note, the fish measurement tool is still being actively improved, and feedback like yours is extremely valuable for helping us fine-tune accuracy. If you’d be open to it, we’d really appreciate any additional details or example screenshots you could share with us via in-app chat or at [email protected]. That would help our team review this more closely.

Thank you for giving Fishbox a try, Brian! We completely understand that first impressions can take a little time, especially with an app that has many features to explore. We're also excited to share that some major improvements are coming very soon. One of our most requested features — fish species information for fishing spots — will be available soon. In addition, we're actively updating and improving our maps and fishing spot data to make the information as accurate, detailed, and reliable as possible. We truly hope you'll have a chance to explore these new features and that they'll make your overall impression of Fishbox even better. If there's anything that feels confusing, missing, or could be improved, we'd really love to hear your feedback. Feel free to reach out anytime via in-app chat or at [email protected] — we're always happy to help and would love to hear your suggestions.

Fishbox Customer Service
I use the Fishbox App everyday. It’s my go to source among the 3 fishing apps I have. The data (98%) is usually spot on, however there have been rare occasions where it presents incorrect information or no data at all. Example: it reflected Celsius temps vs Fahrenheit on some lakes. I would have scored Fishbox a 5 plus if not for these issues. The Customer Service, however is the Best. On the few times I contacted Fishbox, I was notified within minutes that the issue was being addressed Mike and Steve are truly assets to the company. They listened to my concerns, informed me of the actions and provided timely feedback along with the resolve. I didn’t expect the responsive and Professional service they present. Very Impressive. Thanks Ron B

This app is really great especially the free version. Most other fishing app have free versions, but they are terrible and doesn’t really help you become a better angler unlike fishbox.
