If you have the misfortune of dealing with these jokers then good luck. They hide behind their emails. Never reply. Never resolve any issues. Complete waste of time I have been trying to get the intercom fixed in my flat now for nearly 6 months. This has involved logging the problem on there website where it just sits and does nothing and sending over 60 emails to our useless property manager called Luke Connolly to ask for help in fixing. Absolutely nothing. Nothing. My tenant is still having to come down four flights of stairs to let people in when they call him on his phone from outside. Avoid this company at all costs. They are USELESS…..and that is being generous to them.

Awful company. Charge more and more yet offer worse and worse services. The building are going down in value because of their horrendously priced service charges. People can’t even sell them anymore.

I would like to thank Shane for his help and patience when I did not receive any correspondence regarding the change in paying the service charge, just a letter advising it was “overdue”. Thanks also to Shane, for his care and attention to improving the area, with a new patio, and help with arranging events. I would give more than 5 stars if this was possible.he works so hard in the office always available to help us residents.

It is with great reluctance that I am posting this review but I have given First Port every opportunity to redeem themselves. Due to a flood in the kitchen on 25.4.26. it was necessary to make an insurance claim for water damage to the floor and the ceiling of the property below. I duly contacted the property manager Lauren Collins. I have telephoned her 7 times since 4.7.26. and she is always conveniently unavailable and has never had the courtesy to return my calls, however a case no SR01131890 was allocated and emails received from her. At her request I provided details of the incident on 23/7/26 and photos and quotes for both properties were provided on 24/7/26 and Lauren acknowledged these on 29/7/26 saying all had been forwarded to the insurers. I have emailed on the 6.8.26. telephoned 14.8.26. and emailed again 20.8.26. All of which she has completely ignored. On telephoning the insurers directly and speaking to the claims handler in person I discover she has only received on small quote for the sink unit repair and none of the other quotes and photos and was not aware of the damage to the property below. Not only is Lauren Collins incompetent in not checking that she had forwarded this information correctly but also completely unprofessional and continues to ghost me. I will be making an official complaint but seriously doubting I will get a reply. Meanwhile she has wasted nearly 2 months of my time and the elderly neighbour downstairs is very distressed about the damage to her property which remains unrepaired and is worsening. Deborah S

EACH TIME YOU RAISE A CASE ON THEIR PORTAL, THEY SUBMIT HOLDING TEMPOLATE EMAILS SAYING LOOKING INTO THE MATTER, THEN SUDDENLY WHEN YOU CHECK THE PORATL AGAIN, THEY HAVE MARKED THE CASE AS RESOLVED! FIRSTPORT ARE NOT FIT FOR THE PURPOSE, AND SHOULD BE LOOKING INTOI RUNNING A CIRCUS!● Closing active, ongoing disputes/cases regarding statutory notices without providing the requested answers or documentation constitutes a deliberate obstruction of the leaseholder's right to transparency. The events on First port Portal are not as one of, they are systematic, and ongoing as we go to "air"! There is absolute no accountability by this organisation.

Got a typical response from FirstPort to my complaint about service charges . They said I could submit a section 22 request to see invoices and accounts . Had they read my review , they would have understood that I am a freeholder. The section 22 request is only applicable to leasehold properties and not freehold, as it as it is a request to your landlord. As a freeholder you do not have a landlord as you own the land your house is on . This unfortunately clearly illustrates how they say anything just to give a response. Hi Nick, the evidence you're referring to would be made available via a Section 22 request. We operate within the relevant frameworks and should you require such invoices, please make the aforementioned request. (Me) Tried many times and have been refused .

Due to an oversite by First Port Property Management at Highlands Apartments, Romford regarding ensuring all the documentation First Port impose on contractors (at residents cost), this documentation wasn't in place before work commenced. This has resulted in the exterior decoration having to be stalled, causing lost income to the contractors, extending the cost of the scaffolding hire and further compromising the burglary risk via extended scaffolding access, along with restricting the visibility of a number of the retirement apartments, which affects residents quality of life with mobility problems. Further more whilst the scaffolding remains unused the windows have to remain closed for security, which causes extreme temperatures to build within the apartments affecting the wellbeing of the elderly occupants. This is complete incompetence on First Ports part.

I bought a flat last year which is unfortunately owned by First Port. Within weeks the porch light broke in the middle of winter and it took calling and emailing every day for 2 months for them to fix it. There most recent scam is taking my bike from the communal area and charging me £90+VAT to return it. There was no communication regarding this until I chased for CCTV of the theft of my bike. They are scammers and crooks.
