Firmstrong BikesReviews of firmstrong.com

Probably the best beach bike for the money.

The bikes are great. We love the two styles we ordered and they seem well made. We did have some issues with the shipping, as the bikes were supposed to be shipped to the Torrance facility and assembled there, then we were supposed to pick them up after assembly was completed. However, the bikes were shipped directly to our home unassembled. In my opinion, the instructions included were a bit too generic (we had a number of accessories), so it's a good thing I'm very mechanical or it would have been a pain to assemble. Also, we received an email about one week 'after' receiving the bikes stating that the bikes had just shipped, so that was little confusing. I called the company to confirm they were not shipping two additional bikes.

I recently purchased a Firmstrong Chief 3 Speed - Men's 26" Beach Cruiser Bike. I am very pleased with the bike. I felt that the assembly instructions could have been a bit more detailed, and clearly presented. I purchased a bike with fenders, and a back rack. The online videos of fender assembly were helpful, but I was not able to find one for the back rack, which would have been helpful. I have the rack on the bike, but it clearly is not horizontally level over the fender, which means I did something wrong, and need to re-assemble. The instructions for the back rack were pitiful and not helpful at all, which is why I gave a 4 star rating.

Pretty decent bike for the price. Only complaint and it’s a small on is the fit and finish of the decals could be a bit better.

Everything I expected. Bike is great

I am very pleased with my bike, it is very heavy duty. I was very disappointed to find that the back bike rack I chose through the Firmstrong customizer cannot be attached without an adapter. After chatting online on the Firmstrong website, I was linked to the adapter that is not available.

Great bike. My daughter loves it.

Problem with the original order being out of stock that was not discovered till I called about the delayed delivery! However, it was quickly resolved by the very helpful agent who accepted responsibility and the urgency to meet my delivery deadline. She made sure that everything was resolved and expedited the delivery. Good customer service.
