Awful support
The only reason I'm giving FinerWorks 2 stars is the quality of a frame and print I received from them when first testing out the service as a printing and framing partner for my art business. My customer service experience with them has been nothing short of absurd. Numerous times over the last few months, I have had to check in multiple times over a period of WEEKS before hearing anything back. I believe the shortest time between initial email + response has been 10 days. When I heard back quickly once during a follow-up (because my initial question had not been answered in full), it's as if the customer service agent had completely forgotten what we were talking about and gave me an irrelevant answer. This is fine, I suppose, if you are ordering for yourself (although even then, I would rather just support a local shop). This is absolutely unacceptable if you are a business who needs to feel safe that your inquiries about customer orders will be answered in a timely manner. I have been told they prioritize customer order issues, and that's why it's been taking so long to get back to me. That sounds as if they're having so many problems with their orders that it takes weeks to respond to non-urgent requests...that's not reassuring. I am currently exploring competitors, one of which has inferior quality frames, and another which doesn't offer some of the things from FinerWorks I was hoping to offer to my customers. Unfortunately, the one thing that's more important than quality & product offering is customer service & reliability. I can't take a chance on a completely unresponsive and incompetent support team. I've officially given up, and they've lost my business. I mean for crying out loud, I asked them 2 questions 2 weeks ago, and after 3 follow-up emails, I finally heard back -- and my questions still have not been answered! Also notable -- they make mistakes such as accidentally not printing your business logo on the packing slip like they promise they're going to do despite it being uploaded in the right place, and they will sometimes print your personal home address as the return address on the shipping label instead of your business address. Yikes.
