AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Findsio are of the opinion that their company policies are above the law, they are not. Not only do they fail to advertise a search as signing up for a subscription, they send no confirmation either. Despite explaining this they keep ignoring it and saying ‘we regret our software did not meet your expectations’. This has nothing to do with software expectations but being signed up for something I never agreed to! Being wilfully ignorant and deceitful is not an excuse for stealing peoples money. As such I am contacting the relevant authorises and the bank.

Dear Customer, We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and understand your frustration. We would like to clarify that subscription details, including pricing and renewal terms, are presented during the checkout process and require user confirmation before any payment is made. A confirmation email is also typically sent after registration. That said, we take your feedback seriously and would like the opportunity to review your case in detail. Please reach out to our support team with the email address used during sign-up, so we can investigate and assist you accordingly. We are committed to resolving concerns transparently and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Misleading and impossible to manage. They fail to inform you that you are paying for a one week trial and that the membership will be automatically renewed at some considerable monthly cost. They don’t even tell you that you are being signed up to any kind of membership scheme. And they fail to let you see the results of your search. And they actively prevent you from cancelling the arrangements they have imposed upon you. Truly shocking. Desperately disastrous. Monstrous frustrating and most probably illegal activities. Their blatant con-artistry is cleverly concealed from potential victims, however they have offered me a refund of £29.99 which I am awaiting - will then adapt or cancel my review.
