Lithium-Ion batteries will last for many years beyond 2, they do need to be stored with some charge if not used for several months. If stored uncharged for a long duration, like the off season, their lifespan could be reduced. We publish information about battery maintenance on our website and send out notices to our email subscriber base at end-of-season. We offer a 1 year battery on garments and batteries, this is very competitive warranty in our industry and once a product gets past the 1st most likely to continue without issue for many years beyond, but issues do happen so we want to take care of your issue on us.

Hi Michael, this is the Fieldsheer team, we apologize for your multiple issues, I can assure you there is no ill intent or bait and switch strategy on our part, it is a flaw in the pricing logic that was set up, the system sees a total under $99.99 and applies shipping cost. We are working to update the logic to take discounts into account. We will have a customer service person email you today to fix any issue you have with missing batteries and credit you for the shipping. We do take issues seriously, and will get this fixed for you.

We apologize for the shipping charge issue on our order, we did find a bug in our system that was auto-populating an incorrect fed ex charge under certain circumstances.
