What Can I Charge Them for Bad Service
My appointment was for 1 pm in Racine, WI. I had received a confirmation email approximately four hours prior. Upon arrival, there was a handwritten note on the door saying they were out of the office until 4pm, and to call and reschedule. I called the number on the door, spoke to a lady who was "going to check with the technician", and never heard back. I tried Fieldprint's 1-800 number, and had difficulty reaching a live person (if the phone tree doesn't like your input, it just hangs up on you). Once I did finally reach a live person, she was extremely helpful and apologetic, helping me secure an appointment at another location that same day. If I am paying for a service ahead of time, for a time sensitive reason, I expect the service to be provided. If that particular office had an issue with keeping any appointments that day, they should have contacted me. Instead, I had to waste about 45 minutes travel time and gas, and the aggravation of trying to reschedule (that also took about 45 minutes). My confirmation email says, "Once an appointment has been made, you may not make a change or cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time without incurring a charge." I think the same should apply to Fieldprint making a change and cancelling less than four hours prior to my scheduled appointment. $37.90 sounds about right.
