So my review was taking down because I said a direct name. But reviews with praise can have a name and stay up. So this time I'll refrain from names and see if my review of been Horribly Serviced by Federal Tax Law Group stays up because it's the truth and I have ALL my receipts to prove it. Every conversation I had with them they led me to believe everything would be fine and it's under control in actuality They didn't do anything I couldn't have done myself only difference I would have done it in a timely manner and would have not been neglected. I paid for a service that I did not receive which in fact made me lose it all inwhich if they would have done what I paid them for would not have happen. Like I said Very Very Poor service a straight rip off job.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Federal Tax Law Group. It has been nearly two months since I paid for their services, and I have not received a single update regarding my case. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I have not heard back from anyone at the firm. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with sensitive financial and legal matters. At this point, I feel ignored and taken advantage of. I expected professional support, but instead, I’ve received silence. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.

They are NOT BBB rated & many Americans lost their trust and money from this Tax law group. They acted in bad faith & unreliable. Do NOT Trust them.

Rep was rude and speaks over you without taking time to listen- didn’t make far before realizing they were a def do not use!

Poor communication, poor execution, poor expectations set. The whole thing was pitched as they would do everything to get these taxes filed. All they do is file. I have to do all the leg work and running around and finding documents etc. My whole reason for doing this was to have someone else handle it, not me as I was incredibly busy. Now they are fighting me on refunding me my money because they've done absolutely nothing yet, but claim "management of my file" wont ALLOW them to refund me in full. AVOID.

We hired Federal Tax Law Group based on their glowing reviews on Google and Facebook. Initially, they seemed knowledgeable and well-versed in tax law. However, the problems started once we made our payment upfront for services that were yet to be rendered. Communication quickly became an issue. Our calls were rarely returned, and our "case manager" was frequently unavailable. Over time, we went through several case manager changes, each one less helpful than the last. It took an act of God to actually speak to the lawyer supposedly assigned to our case. Submitting documents was another nightmare. We sent several important documents, only to be told repeatedly that they were never received. Despite our best efforts to cooperate and provide everything requested, we eventually received a letter stating, "Despite our repeated attempts to obtain necessary information from you, we have not received the cooperation required to move forward. Regretfully, we are left with no choice but to close your case due to non-responsiveness." I have requested updates on my account multiple times and have yet to receive any. In the meantime, I have been making payments to the IRS for over a year to reduce my debt, and the IRS has also forfeited my last two years of federal tax refunds, amounting to close to half of what I owe. Federal Tax Law Group cannot even confirm if these payments have been applied to my debt. Initially, Federal Tax Law Group informed us that we were considered uncollectible, and for the next 10 years, we would forfeit any refunds to the IRS, which we agreed to. However, nine months later, we received a notice that the settlement agreement had changed, and we were now required to pay $700 a month for the next five years. There is no way we can manage this. Our next step will be to demand a refund for services not rendered and to resolve our issues directly with the IRS. Federal Tax Law Group claimed, both via email and over the phone, that they had spoken with the IRS and proposed a dubious settlement amount, insisting this was our best and only option. Their insistence on a settlement we knew was unnecessary, coupled with their failure to provide the promised services, left us feeling deceived. Sharing sensitive personal information with a company that operates so unscrupulously is deeply concerning. We expect that any attempts to secure a refund will likely lead us through a frustrating loop of phone calls, broken promises, and unfulfilled email commitments. While they have not yet advised us to work with them directly, we anticipate they will, but we have little faith this will resolve our issues. We are now prepared to consider legal action to recover our money. While the amount involved is not substantial, the principle stands: we should not have to endure being scammed and misled while seeking a rightful refund. I strongly advise potential clients to be cautious. Consider looking beyond Google and Facebook for reviews and seek out more reliable sources. Unless we see a satisfactory resolution, this remains a 1-star review. If I could, I would rate them even lower.
