Great concept, but the support experience has been unbelievably frustrating
**Great concept, but the support experience has been unbelievably frustrating** The product has a ton of potential, but our experience with Fathom has gotten to the point where I'm seriously questioning why we're paying for it. For weeks, Fathom has only joined **some of our calls, seemingly at random with no discernible pattern.** On top of that, it has now stopped joining our Google Meet calls altogether. The biggest problem, though, is the support. It's **email after email after email.** They send a troubleshooting step, we try it, respond, wait for another email, try another setting, respond again—and repeat. We've spent roughly two weeks doing this with no actual resolution. I genuinely don't understand the dumbassery behind trying to solve legitimate SaaS technical issues exclusively through slow email support. At some point, get a technically competent person on a damn call, screen share, diagnose the issue, and fix it. Instead, we've had countless sales calls, training calls, webinars, and group coaching calls go unrecorded while support continues sending us one troubleshooting email at a time. After two weeks, we were finally escalated to Tier 2, only to receive another setting change that doesn't appear to have fixed anything. The lack of urgency and ownership is what has pissed me off the most. If you're selling software that businesses rely on to record important calls, your support structure needs to reflect that. Trying to run support as cheaply as possible without accessible live technical help is a terrible customer experience when something actually breaks. I wanted to love Fathom and build it deeper into our systems. Instead, I've spent weeks dealing with support and am now seriously considering canceling altogether. **Bottom line:** Great idea and potentially great software when it works. But when it doesn't, be prepared for email after email after email instead of someone actually getting on a call and solving the damn problem.

Thank you for the honest feedback. This isn't the experience we want anyone to have, and we'd welcome the opportunity to make things right. Our Customer Success team has reached out and offered a call so we can get to the heart of the issue and ensure you have a smoother time with Fathom moving forward.
