Ease of use, recordings, summaries

The post-call summary is amazing as well as the ability to highlight parts of the video you want to return to as they are happening. Saves me tons of time and gives me peace of mind that I'm not missing anything.

Fathom is incredibly helpful. Our company conducts thousands of zoom sales meetings per month, and we mainly use this for automatically sending prospects recaps, tracking and assigning tasks that arise in calls, and creating a system where we can quickly evaluate sales reps with coaching.

What I like most about Fathom is how seamlessly it handles meetings without any extra effort from me. It automatically records, saves everything to the cloud, and provides a full transcript. If I forget a detail or need to revisit a discussion, I can quickly go back and review it. The summaries and to-do lists are especially helpful, and I really like how it identifies different speakers and organizes the notes accordingly. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be expanding its functionality for in-person meetings. It would be great if Fathom could also work as a standalone recorder for in-person or hybrid meetings and generate transcripts, summaries, and action items. I understand this is technically challenging, especially when multiple people are speaking, but having that capability in the future would make the tool even more powerful. Instead of trying to listen, participate, and write notes at the same time, I can focus fully on the conversation. Fathom captures everything, then provides clear summaries and actionable to-do lists afterward. This saves time, reduces missed details, and helps me stay organized and on top of follow-ups.

The free tier offers great value by syncing with the calendar automatically, showing you reminders about upcoming meetings, automatically sending recordings and summaries of the meetings via email. I have saved so much time when searching for the correct meeting where some decisions were made by just searching on my email and finding the email with the summary and the recording. On the free trial of the paid version I can highlight the tasks summary, it understood clearly who was in charge of what and made easier to follow up with the team in the meeting or to remember to reach out to someone else to start a follow up task.
