I tried to book a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Vancouver through FaresMojo.com after seeing a low price. I entered my card details, but the payment wasn’t processed immediately. Instead, I got a phone call from them saying that the fare I selected was “no longer available” and they tried to offer me a more expensive ticket. They didn’t issue any ticket and didn’t charge my card (yet), but the fact that they asked for payment details upfront and then claimed the price changed is a huge red flag. It feels like a bait-and-switch scam — show a cheap fare to lure people in, get card info, then pressure them into paying more later. I immediately locked my card to protect myself and will be requesting a new one. I strongly recommend others to stay away from this site
