Faremart.comReviews of faremart.com

Faremart.com is a scam. Booked the flight twice and it got cancelled twice and they were claiming I was committing a fraud. This is ridiculously. The rep probably got mad because I said its fine that the flight got cancelled and I will re-book through another agency. Probably upset because I did not fall for their scam.

They keep offering fares that the can't book. Three attempts with them and each time they'd call back after an hour or so insisting I book a different flight. It's a cheap upselling practice and you may lose a fare by letting them waste your time.

such a waste company. First in their web site they showed a price. i called their customer care and they told everything is ok and they are just waiting for my credit card verification and my e ticket will be booked with in 2 hrs. I waited and called 5-6 times and every time same answer. After 20 hrs when I called again they told price has increased by 80$ and I have to pay that amount if I want to book that ticket. It was so frustrating. So I cancel the booking and booked with Indian Eagle which gave me a better deal. WOrste company I have ever encountered "FAREMART"

I wish I could give them negative stars. Same experiences as described by many below. They could not confirm the ticket, ever - not even until 6 hours before departure. I ended up canceling and booking directly from the airline (an added expense of $300 due to doing this last minute). I should have done that in the first place. Momondo needs to vet these travel agencies better. Had hope a lot more from the Momondo team.

They are Scammsters. Dont waste your time booking through them. I booked a flight for $803 on their website. After verifying the credit card authencity I was told the etickets will be emailed in 2 hours. I got a call from Faremart saying that we canoot honor the price that they confirmed and that I will have to pay more for the same flight. This is ridiculous and very poor customer service. They confirm a price and dont honor the same. Its a SCAM. They want you to make a reservation and then pay more than the confirmed price. Stay away from them.

Unprofessional and pathetic service , ended up re-booking elsewhere and paying $600 extra. They are a scam! I have had the most disappointing experience booking through this website. We locked in a good price deal for international travel and although we received their initial receipt, there was no e-ticket for about 96+ hours as well as no contact from the agency. Upon reaching out to them, they informed that they couldn't honor the price we had booked at and offered an option that would mean 50% additional charges to us. They promised to contact us and time and again, never ever kept their promise to call us back, provide any option to compensate for the loss or provide any customer service whatsoever. Their basic approach was - Too bad it happened, we can give you same flight for $600 more now. Will never book with them again and recommend not going to them.

Same thing as people described below. I received a confirmation e-mail, but no e-tickets. Then I received a call that I have to pay extra $50 for the tickets to be issued and then I'll get my tickets within 24 hours. A day has passed, still not tickets. Beware, this company is a scam.

Scammers. Please do not use this website. After “purchasing” ticket on their website, I received e-mail confirmation. They said they will issue e-ticket after they did their so-called verification. The customer service rep on the phone who I spoke with when I made the reservation, it will take about 48-72 hours. When I did not receive any e-mail with my tickets, I wrote them an e-mail asking the status. Their email confirmation indicated that they respond to e-mails within 24 hours. When there was no response within 24 hours, I called them. To my surprise, they said my ticket is no longer available at that price. It is now costing me over $4,000. They want me to pay for it. What made it worse, I already finalized all my domestic flights, tour, and hotel arrangements based on this ticket. Fyi, this reservation involving 9 people. Their customer service was practically useless and not going to honor the same price. Faremart is a scammer and should be held accountable. I am beyond upset. Their website should be banned. I had filed a complaint to BBB. I hope others do not fall into their scam.
